Intended to post earlier with pictures but got lazy... Bought the Pirates London Escape set at Wal-Mart on sale for $35, plus a couple Collectable minifgs, the Minotaur and the Skater Girl. All in all, a pretty sweet set. Two awesome carts/chariots/carriages, plus about 5 Peaches (but awesome ones at that), and a neat little pub, "The Captain's Daughter". I'm very happy with this set indeed! Minotaur was just icing (GF took the Skater Girl).

That's all for now.

Nice. I got about 12 of those guys for like 10 bucks with their helmets and stuff off of bricklink a while back. Still can't find a good use for 'em though (Guess I need to make some vehicles).

Me too. That's why I took a stab at it.

Also, I picked up a couple of more ebay items:

I'm going to stop bidding on cheap Lego now.

I think I'll pick up where you left off. Those are all good hauls! Wonder if I could find anything on there for cheap that would fit my armies; although most of the time I just use Bricklink.

I think the best way to bid is to bid on something that's very low priced and near to ending. That's how I got 3 of those. The Blacktron one was sort of surprising because I only bid on it about 2 days in advance and then won it. Then there was this thing that I bid on 4 days ago that never got another bid:

It was $9, but I was completely surprised to win it.

The last thing I bid on has 3 days to go and so far I'm the only one who's bid on it. We'll see if I come out with a win from 7 days in advance. :)

I never trusted E-bay, not after waiting 6 months to get battlefront 2 in the mail. I have been thinking of selling a little bit of lego, or something though. I'm pre-ordering this: http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-360/consol ... ole/103352 and say what you want, but halo is a damn fine game. I can't really work enough to get it, because at the shop I work at the store is WAY over staffed.

I can't wait for Halo 4 either. I think this one has a lot of potential seeing as to how it has a completely new storyline and enemies and weapons and whatnot. Hopefully it won't be too bad. If you're wanting to sell lego, you could always try Bricklink.

@Zupponn: Nice Iceworlder set. I actually prefer the six-wheeled one that came in a value pack with a fire truck-thing.

My dad knows a kid who really wants some lego, and he'll probably buy it (AKA, make his dad buy it) for a bargain price

Apparently the image is too wide. Clicky.

PIctures of some of my recent loot. Tripod and London Escape were Wal-Mart clearance, plus the Pick-A-Brick cup and some of the latest series collectable minifigs... I've spend entirely too much on Legos this month.
