'According to the rulebook', not.
Wait, really?

Good thing I put those cannons on the side then...

Poorly constructed or just a dumb fucking idea?

Seriously though, whoever designed the TIE crawler must have had no knowledge of armored vehicle design.
You mean the same people who build the TIE Fighter?

It's not like the Empire ever had Armored Vehicles that made sense other then the AT-ST...
Um, AT-AT? Sure it makes a big fracking target, but its nearly impossible to stop, can blast apart anything in its path with its heavy laser cannons, is nearly immune to landmines and other ground hazards (except tripwires), can carry tons of troops or even a couple AT-STs, and will send bands of rebels running and urinating on themselves at the mere sight of the thing.

And I could destroy it given nothing but some rope from the hardware store and Indiana-Jones lasso skill.

Still, it's not like having a tall, top heavy design like the AT-AT isn't a huge liability for what is essentially an armored troop transport.

I mean, they live in a Galaxy where most ships are able to fly from atmosphere to outer-space and back again, why are they using the giant, slow-ass mechanical elephant instead of one of those?

Because they kicked Rebel ass that's why.

Bricklinck order arrived today:

There, now I'm no longer the only one who doesn't have this set. Silva is gonna like me getting this. The Peach heads look even uglier now that I see them up close, luckily I found a use even for those.

For the second time if you can believe it. It was really cheap so why not.

I also got some random useful parts I was running out of, parts to finish my microspace, trans parts for energy / weapons whatnot and a couple of random figs for the creation of... well you'll see.

Well damn, I posted in the wrong topic.

Excuses? 'It's the only way to get those sets, they don't have them in stores, since they're second hand they're cheaper than the ones in stores!' Definitely do NOT say I want to build Space Nazis or anything like that.

A Bavarian squad? Nice. Hopefully they won't get massacred like in Dragons teeth.

I'm so planning to order once some of those Jun-Chi figs, they're dirt cheap and would make some nice demonic heavy units for Falx.

I bought a Jun-Chi to act as a heavier unit for my ninjas. It complements them pretty well.

I like that set because you can never have enough Johnny Thunder's, the Jun-Chi is indeed a good option for a heavier unit and the little structure fits in really well with my Hitokiri.

Yeah, I have like 20-some Johnnys from my younger days when I played with all the old Adventurers sets. Nowadays they compose about half of my Dragari forces.

If that can stand, then I think we have a winner.

Eh, might be iffy, it's only got friction pins for the hips and back toes...
