Always heed advice of the better builder:
You were right Natalya. This way the secondary guns look much better.
Also:
BOOM!
1,20€ well spent on two red bushes. I have three of them now. Yay me!

Re: Briktopian "Vindicator" Super Heavy Death Tank
Oh my lord, how have I missed this for so long? this is awesome!
Here's how to make that people mower fucking awesome: Turn it into a mine flail. Keep the saw blades, and add as many chains as you can get a hold of. Wanna put some spikes on the end of those chains? Or maybe some sweet OTCs? That's cool. The blades would give it enough reach to smash right into minefields and set off the bombs far enough away so that your tank doesn't give a single goddamn fuck.

You would probably need a mine the size of a jeep to hurt the thing.....

That thing is totally awesome now. I'd be afraid to fight it because I don't know how I would kill it. Well, I have some ideas, but seriously nice build.

Jetpack troopers armed with rockets or grenades, hit the tank in strategic places or board it.Colette wrote:Orbital-drop Armored Core onto it.Natalya wrote:That thing is totally awesome now. Dam you I have the basic design of my next project which is a SUPER DEATH TANK and now I have to build it and it will on be 2/3 of the size of that thing.
Also OT blades would be better. Still awesome

Re: Briktopian "Vindicator" Super Heavy Death Tank
I plan to playtest it soon, putting all the strenght of Briktopia and the few Deadly Spacemen i have against it.
Possible ways to defeat it:
6. Attacking from behind. It only has so much firepower on the back.
7. Concentrating fire on the weak points. The weapons and possibly the tracks that is.
8. Boarding... though i *cough* forgot to put entry hatches on the turret *cough* *cough*

Or, get an ABSOLUTELY HUGE air-dreadnought to land on it, hard. Always seems to work.

Yeah but the main turret can just turn around right?Apollyon wrote:6. Attacking from behind. It only has so much firepower on the back.
Let's just face it, this thing has no weaknesses, because Apollyon was smart enough to give it all sorts of gun sizes for every type of combat. Your only chance is to outrange it (somehow) and destroy a few of those before it gets close enough. Or Anorak stuff like ridiculously overpowered Minifigs, orbital bombardments or super stealth which will get yourself knocked out instead of your army.
Re: Briktopian "Vindicator" Super Heavy Death Tank
If I knew I was going up against this thing and could build an army specifically to counter it, I'd load a bunch of antigrav paratroopers into a catapult and try and land as many of them as I could on top of the turret. Once they take out the little AA gun there's not much to threaten them up there, and it's large enough to set up a defensive perimeter on the turret itself while mechanix and buzzsaw troopers work on Disassembling and Grinding their way in, respectively.
A lot would depend on what kind of auxilliary forces the supertank had supporting it. With decent anti-infantry support, I'd be in trouble - a gunship or two would really ruin my day. But if we're matching CP for CP, I can buy an awful lot of paratroopers for the cost of a supertank, so I would just cross my fingers and hope that strength in numbers would carry the day.
