Re: Space Canadians
Posted below are some more detailed images of the bike, if you want to make your own. The only rare piece it uses is the Technic engine piston on the bottom, but you can replace that with some other cylinder if you don't have the piston.

Re: Space Canadians
That design is pure genius -- I've never seen a bike that compact except for the POOP models LEGO makes, and this looks way better, like a futuristic chopper bike. It could use a gun, but even without that it's awesome.

Looks ossum. I just might have to make one, but I can see I'm missing some parts. Custom time!
Re: Space Canadians
If you use white spikes, it would look like an undead or skeletal version. Man...wish I had the parts.Ben-Jammin wrote:Looks ossum. I just might have to make one, but I can see I'm missing some parts. Custom time!

Re: Space Canadians
A new group shot. These guys are now pretty strong as far as BrikWars armies go. Their new S-143 White Widow gives them a lot of firepower.
Instead of two larger Plasma Cannons, this White Widow has a quad-barreled auto-cannon turret, which basically counts as four size-3 guns. This will make it better at shooting smaller targets. It's still hard to hit a minifigure when you need a 5, but when you can take four shots your luck goes up.
The armour on this one is slightly different. I'm giving it the same basic stats as the original, but its construction is not exactly the same. Notice the new lower leg design and the front red details are now more complicated. This isn't like the old one updated, this is an entirely new one, so basically I now have two of these spider-tanks. This one used the original joint designs I posted a while ago, but it has the paper inside the joints to make them resist moving, which has helped it stand much more sturdily.

Re: Space Canadians
Not me. I guess I was a purist so I wasn't thinking outside the Lego box to develop a sufficient friction solution to the weight problems. I came up with some messed up designs, but they were only marginally more effective than traditional black Technic friction pins, and they use many more pieces. You can see in Turn 6 of the QoP Part 3 battle the front two legs of the Assyrian S-143 have modified joints connecting them to the body of the tank. The paper solution is super effective compared to the other things I tried.
