Well, I just noticed that I've never actually posted a faction here. So here's one of my smaller ones, and a ship I built for them recently.
Group shot.
The Special Forces (basically some characters from my childhood I changed up a little). Fordo, the squad leader is on the left, next is Bruno, the heavy, then Backup, an assassain, and the Lieutenant.
The Moldavian Space Prime Minister.
Scout team, with (from left to right) Skeleton Key Guy, Grappling Hook Guy, C4 Guy, Chain Guy. These guys can be used for a number of purposes. Also, redshirting.
Whitecloaks, the main infantry of the Space Moldavians.
Elites. The guy on the left has a Plasma Destructator, and the guy on the right has a RT Sniper Rifle.
More elites. One with a Heavy Bolter, another with a RT Experimental Ray Gun.
The Skavar, a medium assault frigate used by the Space Moldavians; one of my newer factions.
The back.
The twin engines.
The side. There is a missile rack on each side that can hold up to four rockets, and below it are the two heavy laser cannons.
Continuing further up on the side...
...and to the very front...
...which reveals a very large anti-SHIP missile!
Just a size comparision.
From the front.
The forward facing twin batteries, they are useful for both anti-fighter and anti-SHIP combat and have a pretty good range of motion.
The bridge.
It opens upward for easy access.
Two people are needed for navigation and communications, etc.
Behind them stands a security team of a Mk.III Moldavian Assassain Droid and the two-man Heavy explosives team.
The bridge is accessed from the outside through a universal blast door.
A view from the back. The upper level can also be used for storage, and beds or chairs can be placed for longer excursions.
A fancy spiral staircase leads down to the lower level.
This doorway leads to the gunner's station.
The gunner's station with the top removed.
On the other side of the lower level is the engine room.
Just a look at the way I build part of the side I experimented with SNOT.
The side of the upper level, with an anti-fighter chaingun. I should mention that the ship is symmetrical.
Size comparison with a Space Police set.

That ship looks amazing. I can't wait to see more of these guys.
Re: The Space Moldavians (with Ship!)
Love the way you did all the doorways and cockpit/command dome. So many detail I like here. So smooth! Hardly a Lego stud in sight.
Re: The Space Moldavians (with Ship!)
The Skavar looks awesome! I also like all of the different weapons it has.

Wow. That ship is the butts. And I really like the scout team too.
