My sister and I went into Value Village today, and I found two grab bags of Lego for 4 bucks each. I feel like they'll make Natalya especially jealous, since it contains almost all white and dark red pieces. I think the pieces are mostly from one of these:

No big wheels or wing pieces though, so it may be hiding somewhere in their inventory.

The best part is that while looking through one of the bags, I saw something green. I molested the bag a bit until I could finally see what it was, and what did I behold but this gem:

The lowest priced one on Bricklink (that isn't damaged) costs almost as much as the whole bag did. Score!

Pictures will be posted.

Wait, that thing is expensive? Man, I should be extra careful with mine instead of letting it sift in one of my various Lego buckets.

Yeah, any Star Wars minifig parts tend to be pretty expensive. I doubt I'll sell it, though, since it's one of those pieces I've wanted since it came out.

Anyway, I checked Bricklink again and realized I was wrong about what set the stuff came from. It's actually one of these:

Still no big wing plates, and it's missing the black engine block pieces, the pilot, and two sand green pieces that I'm now very disappointed about. I'll see if I can build it once I get the pieces cleaned.

Within two or three weeks, I might get donated not one, but TWO collections of Lego from friends that don't use them anymore. Yes, I told them about Brikwars but they're not interested. N00bs. Well, more Legos for me, guess I can't complain.

While those don't get here, today I was given a small collection of another game I highly enjoy and still play, Magic: The Gathering.

The box is superb, from the early years of the game, filled with awesome old-school artwork.

Opening the treasure box, I find two piles of cards plus a deck box. Roughly around... 350+ cards from various expansions; Onslaught, Nemesis, Odyssey, 7th Edition, Urza's Legacy and Saga, Prophecy, Alliances, Invasion, Judgement, etc... The deck box is from Morningtide, Warrior's Code.

Got lucky with the cards, most of them are of colors I use. A few handy rares and uncommons. Overall an excellent haul.

Now the question is, how to incorporate these guys into what I have?

The new posable horse is really well done, too.
