He's a good character in the sense that he's interesting enough.

He is however, a hypocrite, and not very smart either. First time he gets his hands on the Lancelot:

"With this machine of death and destruction, I can end all wars!"



Then his 'Lelouch, violence doesn't solve anything, stop this rebellion!' blablabla when the so-called 'terrorists' are actually making far less casualties than the actual regime, and he killed his own father to 'stop the war'.

In the end, he's just another tool in Lelouch's schemes (like pretty much everyone else).

Anime is awesome. Anime has lots of explosions. Just be sure to narrow that down to something more specific before you start watching one.
