We are moving our forces against Gotland, but it will take a while as we are on the other side of the continent.

Regarding the exoskeleton, I say that New Sweden is currently researching it and that other nations do not have access to it. Others may try to steal that technology, sort of like the hover tech in the Palus Federation. I'm hesitant to use high tech in this game because modern soldiers do not use that equipment yet and I kind of want this be more realistic than the other games we play here. With that said...

Here are the council chambers for our ambassadors. Your guards are waiting outside the door. There is a balcony if any of you wish to get some fresh air.

I'm adding more islands to the Palus Federation right now. If anyone wants to see some extra continents, get some pictures and show the link to the originals so I can add them. I'm going to redo the map, not change the land or borders, but make it look a bit nicer than paint lines.

"The GU can immediately send ships for a blockade. Mind you, it will take some time to arm all of them in our smaller provinces but we can send vessels from the North immediately. It will just take our northern vessels longer than the southern provincial ones. In addition to our forces, we would be willing to ferry or escort forces for any nation here to suppress Gotland."

"On another note, what do we know about Gotland's technology and weapon systems? Is there anything our forces should be wary of?"

"My fullest apologies for the lat arrival. I had pressing matters of homeland security to care for. Now, my contacts have mentioned something about an attack from Gotland. Anyone know what provoked them to do such an action?"

Out of character:
How high tech can a soldier be equipped? I was planning in some Ghost Recon type armaments, which is based on current military experiments. Also, this?

As far as real world equivalent, think the East India trading company mixed with the Half-Life Combine.

Also, I added citys to my territory on the map. I also added my capital and a shipping port. I think everyone should try to put some citys or towns on the map so we know where we're shipping to or attacking.

Speaking of which, back to the Embassy, should we also set up trade routes as well here.

Alright, I've build Space Sweden's forces. I've put the pictures in spoilers, as to not fill up the entire page.

Cpt. Manfred is equipped with an experimental military exoskeleton, created by uncivil engineers. The suit is equipped with a chainblade, designed to break through armor and rend flesh, and a arm-mounted minigun, fitted with armor-piercing rounds. However, the suit is very clunky, and it slows down whoever wears it.
A LDD file containing the troops is available here:

Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

Question: How should we even go about handling battles?

Also, I am trying to make Gotland into a bad guy, hence my leader's appearance.

I or another person may set up the battles like we normally do a forum battle. Example: Noricum vs Gotland. If I set it up and move the pieces, then I will not play as Noricum, I'll have someone else give the orders. The player not hosting but still has his nation in the battle may play as that nation. Does that make sense?

RunsWithLegos- Hurry up and get LDD.

Okay, I should have checked out that world generator link that Zupponn supplied so long ago.

Image
What if we used this as the world instead? I have a huge copy to zoom in on, and deserts would be much easier to add. I know we'd have to start over picking lands, but there's a lot more diverse area to choose from. I can even upload different projections of the map, but I prefer this style. Maybe this time we wont take up such huge chunks of the map. Any thoughts?

It seems a bit stretched out for my taste but that may just be me.
