If there are just 2 US servers right now and a wipe is coming, I don't see the point of restarting new guys that just get wiped again.
I havent been in since Xcom was released. But will soon be done with my second play through and will jump into PS2 again.

So what are they calling the server we've been on since Oct 9?

Looks like there was a client update on 11/5 that "fixed" client crashes.
But maybe not so much.
