That game where you build stuff.

History
A prototype version of Blockland, known as 'Vanilla Blockland', was released on November 14th, 2004. The "Globe and Mail" wrote an article on this early version of Blockland in which creator Eric Hartman claimed the game had gained 20,000 users in the 4 years since it "became big". At one point, Lego offered to buy Blockland from Hartman and give him a job working on the game for at least a year. After not hearing back from Lego for some time, Eric went ahead with working on a more complete, retail version of Blockland, having removed all of the copyrighted Lego content. The retail version of Blockland was completed and released on February 24, 2007. Recently a new update was released, removing interiors and terrain but added more dynamic lighting to builds.

Quik version: Blockland is Sandbox game created by Eric Hartman. It features dynamic lighting, ID system and a unique add-on system, influencing users to create their own content. It was out a while before Minecraft and Roblox came out. Available on Mac and Pc

Demo is free, but has no online or usermade content. $20 lifetime key

Atleast until we get greenlighted, then it might go down.

Okay, I downloaded Demo, I went into tutorial, "Press 1 to equip brick" or something like that. I pressed 1, nothing happened.

Um, did you place any in the slot? Try pressing 2?

When I click 1 or 2, or anything really, it says building is currently disabled.

Odd. Are you still doing the tutorial? Most other gamemodes don't allow build, but tutorial is not one of them. Are at the staircase room or in the one before it? Make sure you're in the room, press B, add a brick to your slot, press 0-9 or one of the inventory toggle, build, ???, profit? The old tutorial, back in 08, was way better. There very few to no glitches, it showed you how to drive, it had target practice, and it had secret places. That was also when we had terrain maps. R.I.P Tutorial v10.

I played Roblox back in the days. Or more accurately I trolled their forums with Twilight fanfiction.

So, should I just skip the tutorial and just go into a free build or something? Pick it up as I go?

Nevermind, the tutorial worked. It was glitched before, I started in the like, 3 room, instead of the first. It was odd.
