Everything I know about interstellar space travel tells me that it is nearly impossible. At least, not with our current conceptions of how it would work.

They still don't know how to create exotic matter with a negative mass or how the Casimir Effect produces negative pressure. Until they unlock the secrets of Space-Time we aren't going anywhere.
