I love your stuff but *ouch* cutting lego pieces
Cutting is usually my last resort. In this case, it was shortening a rod to attach the leg to the middle.

right there.

I also used this technique while making the legs.

Image

That's a small sliver of paper. Basically, this stiffens the technic joint by allowing less room between the pin and the hole.

Image

Look at the results! I don't consider this lego heresy because I'm not altering a part, I'm just shoving paper into it.

I respect your different opinion, but sometimes I just have cut stuff because I don't want to redesign the cool thing I just made.

The fuck? I could have used paper this whole time? Fuck my life.

Also, your original dreadnought was inspirational when I made mine a few years ago, like I copied its legs.

Yes, it's like how you can put some tape around these when you run out of the ones that are round on both ends.

Or a small sheet from a plastic bag around it, works too.

I never thought I'd see the day I knew something about Lego that Natalya didn't.

My guess is because it's one of the best examples of a dread on the forums, and a lot of people want to build dreadnoughts for their armies.

That and the paper technique in the joint. Lot of arguments recently concerning ball joints and the like.

Ball joints need to be covered up. That being said, Natty is a terrible big sister and Shadowscythe is just plain rude.

Ball joints are like tits. They're round and firm and they are nice to work with.:warhead:
