Thanks, but I already have a name that does sound a bit easier: Waldhuter. That's what I am gonna called my "scouts / rangers". I am trying not to make them sound too much like WWII coz of the Third Reich connotations. Maybe I should also look up modern German names for stuff?

So far I am going with Waldhuter for my scouts, Jagerkorps for infantry, Feldjager for military police, Panzergrenadier for mechanised infantry, Panzerjager for tank hunters or heavy weapons, Panzersoldaten for tank crew, and maybe Sturmpanzer if I do some heavy tanks squads.

But yeah, I would love to know how to put those jeeps together (naturally credit will go to the original designer).

ZZD is my favorite forum battle to read, but Assault on Goatse Bunker is my second favorite. It's definitely worth a look as well.

It is beautiful as always :) If you deliberately used the name of Constantinople instead of Istanbul as some kind of sarcasm that doesn't make me uncomfortable at all.

First name was Byzantium

Actually Istanbul and Constantinople mean originally two different things.

Historically "Istanbol" means "inside the city" or "to the city" and cover a part of the old city inside the city walls
and "Constantinople" contains the city + the surrounding area

Ottomans used the name "Konstantiniyye" (pronounced as "Constantinnie"), Türkisch version of Constantinople meaning "city of Constantine"
The name Istanbul is only used for several centuries referring the entire area

New York was New Amsterdam.

I call it Constantinople because I like that name and I hat(ed) the guy who conquered. The Byzantines kinda had it coming though.
