Re: In the Cold North - Forum RPG
"That went... less than well. I pray that you will heed my warnings should we survive to fight again."
Gerald Longhouse glances at the wolf, slumbering peacefully.
"There is no point in interrogating the wolf - it would be best to slay it now. While we could wait until the goblin comes to and hold the wolf ransom in exchange for information, we are only asking for more trouble should either of them escape. I also doubt that such a dark creature has respect for the life of such an easily replaceable mount." I wield my longsword, and stand positioned over the sleeping wolf ready to deliver a coup de grace. "Give me the word, and it shall be done."

"Kill the thing, just do it quickly."
Saucix ties up the Goblin as best as he can.

This sig is too fucking large: show anyway
Re: In the Cold North - Forum RPG
Gerald plunges his longsword into the wolf's heart. It gives just a small yelp as it dies.
Saucix ties up the goblin. It will sleep for a couple hours unless you wake it up, by slapping it awake or something.

The XP will be handed out after each bigger chunk of adventure.
Re: In the Cold North - Forum RPG
Nisos walks up to the tied captive, crouches down, and snaps his finger several times in front of the goblins face.
Hey, wake up
He snaps his fingers a few more times
Come on, wakey wakey
Frustrated, he stands back up, walks a few paces, then bends over and picks up a handful of snow.
Lets see if this works...
He hurls the snowball at the goblin's head

The snowball hits the goblin in the face, and it wakes up. It tries to shake the snow off, spitting and snuffling. Then it notices the ropes, and you.
"What want you me? Kill me not!" it says desperately.

Re: In the Cold North - Forum RPG
Nisos issues a stream of questions at near blinding speed.
Who are you?
Why are you this far west?
Who rules the goblins here?
Have you seen a giant albino mammal?
Where do you store your loot?
Were there any more of your kind you?
Who killed Logan?
What phase of the moon is it?
If I have 3 golden royals in one hand, and 2 silver talents in the other, how much will I have if I exchange it to cealdish with the money changer taking 5%?
What is the name of the wind?
Nisos calms down, takes a breath, then turns to his companions.
Anything you want to ask guys?
OOC: If you guys ask any reasonable questions, Nisos will ask them for you.

"Who are you?"
"I name Ornup..."
"Why are you this far west?"
"Queen told at us to go... I know not! She talked with leader!"
"Who rules the goblins here?"
"Fyespon. She is leader."
"Have you seen a giant albino mammal?"
"...No."
"Where do you store your loot?"
"We have none loot!"
"Were there any more of your kind you?"
"Yes... Many! Giant-many! You should stay you away here-from!"
"Who killed Logan?"
"Who?"
"What phase of the moon is it?"
"Urh... Half-moon!"
"If I have 3 golden royals in one hand, and 2 silver talents in the other, how much will I have if I exchange it to cealdish with the money changer taking 5%?"
Ornup looks like he or she thinks as hard as possible.
"Uuueeh... Nothing?"
"What is the name of the wind?"
"I... I know not!"

Re: In the Cold North - Forum RPG
Seems like a pitiful waste of scum. I am quite certain that he can do us no harm at this point, but the coward is not beyond telling his bretheren of our presence.
"Cease your Gibering, dark one. You may have the opportunity to escape with your life - your wolf was not so fortunate to be granted this bargain. You shall be released and sent home to your own kind - where you are to tell them that a bear had slain your wolf on this night. You are not to mention our presence, nor our direction of travel. Our mage has already placed a scrying spell on you, and we will be always watching. The moment you choose not to comply, you will burst into terrible flames. Your alternative is an immediate death. Choose your bargain quickly, or I shall choose for you." By the sun, I pray Nisos is persuasive enough to follow my lead.

Ornup looks utterly terrified.
"Yes! Yes! I will do just as you say!"
