Yeah, apparently I need to get better at hiding. The tree routine fell right through. When this is all over, provided I survive, I'm going to practice the fuck out of sneaking and hiding during downtime.

Either you got a bad roll, or when you said you were tying yourself to the tree, you didn't specify clearly enough that you were trying to stay hidden.

Gerald swings his longsword at the goblin he is engaged with.

Rolled Melee 1+2 vs. AC

He loses hold of the sword and it goes spinning away, landing in the snow outside the ring of fire.

Gregor fires the crossbow at the bowgoblin.

Rolled Ranged 13+1 vs. AC, rolled 1+1 damage

The bolt strikes the goblin in the side, but it's still alive.

Saucix reaches out with his power of sleep.

Rolled 7

The three goblins inside the flames all fall asleep, dropping off their wolves and into the snow. The wolf that was biting Saucix also falls asleep, as well as the unridden wolf attacking Gerald.

Nisos conjures a magic arrow and throws it at the bowgoblin!

Rolled Spell 8+4 vs. Ref, rolled 6+3 damage

The goblin is hit in an arcane blast and blown to pieces.

Adarim swings his sword at the wolf inside the circle that is still standing and not on fire.

Rolled Melee 4+1 vs. AC

But the wolf avoids his sword.

The burning wolf stumbles around howling in pain. It crashes into Adarim, knocking him over, and setting his clothes on fire! 6 damage

Adarim passes out from the heat and pain. He's burning.

Seeing how all its comrades explode or fall down unmoving, the last swordgoblin outside the fire turns its wolf and flees towards the darkness. The two unridden wolves outside follow. The last wolf awake and not burning inside the circle joins them, making a great leap across the flames.

Situation:
Spoiler
Show
Saucix: 6/8 HP, not wearing chainmail

Gerald: 7/8 HP, no crossbow, no longsword

Gregor: 1/6 HP, in tree with crossbow

Nisos: 1/1 HP

Adarim: -1/7 HP, unconscious, on fire

Opposition:
(Outside the fire)
1 goblin with short sword, fleeing
4 wolves, 3 of them unridden, all fleeing
(Inside the fire)
3 goblins with short swords, asleep
3 wolves, 2 of them asleep, 1 of them burning
when you said you were tying yourself to the tree, you didn't specify clearly enough that you were trying to stay hidden.
Yeah, I didn't even realize you were trying to hide. Oops.

Adarim
Roll in the snow long enough to put out the fire. Hopefully I can do this in a fluid motion and rise to strike one of the enemies.

1. a friggin 1. At least we're safe for now.

I'm pulling Adarim out of the fire (you're unconcious dude). If the one remaining wolf tries to stop me, I'm just going to grapple him then chuck him into the fire. The rest of you should tie up the goblins before tossing em in the flames. Once the fires die down imma go grab my sword.

"Saucix, put your damn armor on. The darkness flees, but will surely return. We must collect ourselves and regroup - the goblins will be back, and we must be prepared for them."

Are the sleeping goblins in the fire on fire? In any case, while everyone else is trying to put out adarim, I will tie the sleeping goblins up with someone's rope, if they give it to me, and loot them.

Well, should we execute them? Or does anyone have a better idea.

Wait, I took six points of damage through leather armor? Blacksmiths wear leather aprons for a reason.

It's cool, I wasn't clear.

I'll climb down and help tie up the goblins.

I have plenty of rope to go around.

Saucix attacks the burning wolf.

Rolled Melee 18+1, rolled 3+1 damage

He slashes the wolf's throat open putting it out of its misery. The fleeing wolf rider and wolves disappear into the night.

Gerald throws some snow at Adarim, putting out the fire on him. One person can try to tend to Adarim's wounds with a Wis check to restore 1 HP, which will stop him from dying. Otherwise he'll have to make a Con check in an hour and possibly take more damage.

Nisos and Gregor tie up the sleeping goblins, looting them (as well as the dead goblins) as they go. They find a total of 13 gold pieces. There are now 3 tied up, sleeping goblins lying around, and 2 sleeping wolves.

The fire around the camp dies down and Gerald retrieves his longsword. The first rays of dawn are coming over the horizon.

Rolled Wis 5+16

Gerald tends to Adarim's burns. He regains 1 HP, putting him at 0 HP. He'll wake up in an hour or so with 1 HP.
