What I really wonder about is how articulate and stable is this thing? It's impressive to create a model, but if that model can be dropped a few inches without falling part, and if it can hold its own weight in most of the poses it ends up in in the show?

So yeah, Evangelion 3.0? How about that eh?mgb519 wrote:
From /tg/'s point of view, all I can see is endless shit about "THIS isn't TG RELATED" and I'm all like - for fuck sake where the hell did you think ADEVA came from? and then there are the legion of /a/ trolls - and I refuse to head over to /a/ for fear I may never enjoy an anime again, much the same reason that I avoid /v/.
I don't really have an opinion on Mari, she's just there - I like the fact that Shinji's actions from the end of 2.0 basically counted for jack shit, and the 14 year LCL-pause on the pilots seems like an asspull to me, but I can live with it for now.
But I miss everyone getting tanged.
But I would prefer it if everyone was fanta flavoured, that was made by piltoggs.

It's able to stand up on its own, at least.Keldoclock wrote:What I really wonder about is how articulate and stable is this thing? I didn't know it was out. I'll have to watch it later. The Shadowscythe wrote:So yeah, Evangelion 3.0? How about that eh?

Meh, God!Rei is probably going to save everyone in the next one, so it's alright I guess...The Shadowscythe wrote:So yeah, Evangelion 3.0? How about that eh?mgb519 wrote:

I mean, the WILLE kids get a pass since they were probably in Grade school at the time, but Misato you were RIGHT THERE cheering his ass on!

Oh man, what a movie. It's really diverging from the original series now.

Re: 4 foot tall Lego Evangelion [Spoiled by Whiteagle]
Looks like it is probably a bit taller than my model. Hard to tell though. Mine is too heavy to play much with, and I suspect it is the same situation here. This Eva is probably heavier than mine because of all those curve and slope bricks. My model uses plates for exterior paneling while this thing uses bricks which are much heavier.
Comparing AC and Eva stats is kinda pointless because the Eva has an AT field while the ACs in their original universe do not have comparable shielding. Without knowing the energy output of the Eva's AT field we don't know whether or not an AC could neutralize the field with its energy weapons.

What I mean is, this is like when people try to compare a Star Destroyer with, say, the Enterprise D in a fight. The Star Destroyer relies on a kind of exotic matter called hyper matter for energy, and we don't know the energy output of its weapons or shields, so we don't know how they would fight.

It's like debating who would win in a fight between God and Batman.
God would never fight someone...
... he knew he couldn't beat.
