You enter a square room. There is another door on the same wall as where you enter, and one on the opposite wall which is blocked by a large stone chair. Otherwise the room is empty.

On the ceiling is a huge, circular mural. The art is very stylized with circle and spiral patterns, but appears to depict humanoid figures writhing in flames.

I will attempt to use my smarts to determine the meaning and cultural origin of the icons, using my college education.

"What sort of blasphemer would draw this?" I wish I had a bucket of paint with which to cover up this horrid painting.

I head to the stone chair and try to determine if it is there because it's a barricade.

Nisos have never seen any artstyle resembling that of the mural.

Rolled Int 3+16

He can't draw any conclusions about its meaning either.

The stone chair is pushed all the way to the door, which appears to open into this room.

You rest in the mural room for the rest of the day. Everyone regains 1 HP from this. (To regain more health, spells, and prayers, you need to sleep.)

It is now evening.

Yeah sure. Can't we just have taken a full day's nap? All of us want to rest for long enough to be at max, although I'm strong enough to still explore the temple. I don't want to go it alone though, because if I can't single-handedly defeat whatever trouble I run into, I put the rest of the party (all injured and out of spells) in a pretty compromised position. Gregor, Adarim and I might be able to flank & tank, but I'm leaving that decision up to you guys. I've got enough wisdom that I should be able to stabilize you and drag you back to the safe-room for sleepytiem, but I can't guarantee your (or the rest of the party's) safety - ESPECIALLY with all these ones I'm rolling.

Flank and tank works for me, once I'm not an inch from death.

Saucix can't heal Gerald today; mundane healing apart from first aid requires a doctor education.

You sleep and everyone regains 1 Hit Die + Level of HP.

Saucix and Gerald are back to full health. Gregor regains 2+1 HP. Adarim regains 4+1 HP.

Saucix and Nisos get all their spells and prayers back.

Health:

Gregor: 5/6 HP

Nisos: 1/1 HP

Adarim: 7/7 HP
