Re: Bavarian Army Update 2013
Nice update, I love the artillery the New Coruscant Republic New Scandinavia have an artillery as well, but I need to modify it a bit. We also have mortar launchers, but, not the same thing.

Re: Bavarian Army Update May 11th 2013
I made and improved a few vehicles so that I'm prepared to face Bluefog on Tuesday.
This is a death car with an anti-air gun on it. The gun can also change elevation so that I can take out some of Bluefog light vehicles and infrantry
In 1989 G.R., when Tim Burton's Batman was released in theatres, the USSSR was at war with Bavaria. In response, the bickering factions of the Bavarian Civil War created and built as many Spatz fighters as they could to resist the communists. Bavaria today has millions of these outdated fighters, and tries to get rid of them any way they can.
Spatzes usually have eight mk II missiles, though I could fit at least 16.
Their engines still hold up today. While they're not as fuel efficient as the new BMWs, they can still travel at remarkable speeds.
The main gun can point downwards, making strafing very easy.
I've made my Panzer's armour much better looking, and I've taken theblackdog's advice and covered up the treads.
Hopefully by the next iteration I'll cover up more of it.

The Panzer looks great. Also, I'm really liking the simplistic design of the fighter.

I love the fighter, and I am hoping you have the briks to make a lot more.
I am also loving the tank re-design, and I would love to see another version with a better turret layout if you can - otherwise it is awesome.

Love all 3 vehicles, from the simplicity of the car, to the awesomeness of the tank, to the clever wing design of the plane. Good work!

Thanks, guys. The death car is a modified lego city cop car.Zupponn wrote:Love all 3 vehicles, from the simplicity of the car, to the awesomeness of the tank, to the clever wing design of the plane. Good work!
The turret is what I'm having the most trouble with, and the lego tanks I've studied usually have fairly small guns. I'm thinking that I should make the gun alot bigger, and add a few rockets to distract from the odd design. The Shadowscythe wrote:I love the fighter, and I am hoping you have the briks to make a lot more.

Re: Bavarian Army Update May 26th 2013
I present to you, the Mk I Drednut.
Most nations put their sick, their weak, their feeble and their injured and the dreadnuts, but in Bavaria dreadnuts are mainly used by mid-ranking knights and their relatives. This has lead to the creation of families who have trained solely with drednuts, who uphold their honour and virtue in battle.
The arms are easy to switch out with different weapons. This one has a rocket launcher and a punt gun in addition to it's main gun.
The legs aren't really poseable, and their design is ripped from that awesome star wars walker.
"I love you this much."
Size comparison with Panzer IV and Sergeant.

Isn't there a rule about this?Kalvinator wrote:Very nice, looks cool. Also gun placement is...something.
Also, it really needs a dual drum magazine.Natalya wrote:G. -- No more dick guns on mecha. Seriously. Why do you people keep on putting cannons in mecha crotches? I have no idea, but it's stupid.

I think the blue 6x6 plate makes the top of it look very boxy. You should improove on that section. Everything else looks good.

Wait, dreadnuts are not supposed to be boxy?Apollyon wrote:I think the blue 6x6 plate makes the top of it look very boxy. You should improove on that section. Everything else looks good.
I like the overall look of the dreadnut myself, but you might want to try out beefing up the arms and legs a tad and see how it looks.

The dreadnought looks like it was designed to snuggle other mechs.
