Idea: the Murderhobo drones should be controlled by the disembodied brains of actual hobos, kidnapped from the streets of Immortal worlds, forcibly implanted into war machines, and hopped up on drugs that give them an irresistible urge to MURDER.

Immortal Battlemech

Designation "Gunther"

Image

Armed with twin acid spewing arm cannons, a pair of brawling fists and a pair of head mounted anti-air flachette autocannons the Gunther is pretty much the Immortals "FUCK YOU!" To Scythian infantry forces, it utilizes a back mounted rocket thruster combined with air thrust jets to quickly get into enemy lines and melt everything they can see. These battlefield monstrosities have quickly proven to be the bane of urban combat units in tight streets and alleyways.

That's pretty awesome, especially the acid guns. I like the hunched-over look.

If you look really closely, you can see the ZMC stamp on the GT.

Well guys - I made some more arts, and its kinda armoory related due to the fact I have plans for the Scythian Veritech fighter in here I have built, but have yet to photograph.

So enjoy some arts in the mean time. :P :omnom:

Image

A Scythian Monarch Class Battleship - cruising past the shot in her maiden glory.

Image

A Scythian Goliath during the battle of Braxis III - The pilot did not survive.

Image

A Really badly drawn Scythian Marine - Guns, guns and armour lads.

Image

Image

The "Vampyre" - now known as the "Samurai" to better fit with the fact that all the previous Scythian Space Fighters where named after types of Japanese swords - built, but not finished.

Sorry about the image quality on the last two - I cannot seem to fix it unfortunatly. :?

Holy shit, that transforming fighter looks like win. I'm not sure if you'll be able to put the legs on the ends of the wings like that though...

Here is a thing not many of you will know - but years ago between my rainbow builds and drawing the crap I used to build from lego - I was actually a microspace and general microbuilder and my main inspiration was from things such as the original C&C and Red Alert 1/2 and things such as Homeworld (1, 2 and cataclysm), Battletech, Dune II battle for Arrakis and lord only knows how much sci-fi (mostly babylon 5 to be fair but there we go) and I used to build Micro-war battlegrounds across my bedroom floor and fight out entire campaigns with my tanks, ships and buildings to keep myself amused through the days as a child.

As time went on I found myself more building for style and fewer rainbows where built (my favorite rainbow builds where an Apache gunship and a HIND gunship) and the style of the Scythian Empire was built years before the Scythian Empire was even a "thing" and so building for them is almost like returning to my lego roots.

Except I have no micro-built IRL for years now, so a few days ago after reading through the Mobile Frame Zero rulebook I built two micro builds that I am posting now with my most recent Scythian builds.

Shadowscythe Micro Build

Hackerman Battlemech

Image

Image

Image

Image

Built for MF-0 the Hackerman is I guess around the region of three stories tall and would fill the niche of a Heavy/Assault battlemech - armed with two hard-point shoulder missiles, an ECM/ECCM array, heavy Armour and fast moving reverse jointed legs - the Hackerman's main role is to get deep into enemy lines and ravage as much as possible and retreat before enemy forces can react.

As non-hardpoint weapons go the Hackerman can be armed with either the "Lucious" Patterm heavy auto-cannon (lovingly referred to as the "Bolter") or two Heavy chain-swords - the uses of these must be obvious to everyone looking on at them, but if they are not - they are designed to fuck. up. shit.

Shadowscythe Micro Build

Executioner Immortal Heavy/Walker Battle Tank

Image

Built for MF-0 but based on the Immortal theme, the Executioner is a four legged Immortal Battle Tank armed with one Plasma Cannon (the right side barrel) and one Heavy Ion Cannon (the larger left side barrel), heavy Armour and an impressive real-time sensor array the Executioner is an undeniable force of death in the field, ripping enemy force groups to shreds as it backs up wraith units in the field.

-- SCYTHIAN RIGEL KENTAURUS SHIPYARDS--

-- VERITECH CLASS FIGHTER --

-- SAMURAI CLASS --

Image

Image

Image

Image

With the Immortal war growing worse and worse by the day and the Scythian war machine stepping up to the mark it was only a matter of time before the untested designs found their way into the field.

The Samurai is one of those untested designed.

Half star-fighter, half-battlemech the Samurai is an attempt to meld the two together for the advantages of both and the disadvantages of neither, armed with starfighter grade armour, a left arm missile pod armed with anti-matter warhead missiles and a right arm Gatling laser cannon it is capable enough in its field for both jobs but still unfinished. It is unsteady on its feet when in full bipedal mode - opting for a near permanent mode of hovering around the battlefield - its Armour still flimsy at the joints and many of its subsystems are unfinished or unpolished - while capable as a weapons platform it lacks the usual finesse given to the Scythian armory and its viewpoint of technological arrogance over the enemy.

Rumour have it this is because many of its primary systems are in fact based upon captured Immortal Infinitech and the integration between the two techs is not yet complete, but these rumours have been stamped out of naysaying elements by the Scythian Office of Naval Intelligence.
