<_< Yeah, but the first one to say that my yellow mech isn't yellow it's naked is taking it too far. Besides, I'm currently working on an J-army. Are you asking for a CHALLENGE?

Note in regard to the feet: A metal army is awesome. But what's a musical group without constant internal strife? I'd consider making an opposing force of an ex-band member embarking on a blues/jazz/metal concept album.

for metal vehicles, you can just watch The Road Warrior. Those are pretty metal.

A second option would be the flying gun-spitting stone head from Zardoz, because that is totally metal.

Yeah, I've been trying to push a The Road Warrior themed army forever.
On a side note, the minifig in that picture looks remarkably like Eugene Hütz.

Hey I remember that set!

Wait, I think I worked on that set.

Wait, I think I'm not necessarily proud of having worked on that set, and I'd rather people not remember it.

Wait, forget I said anything.

Ha the horses with wheels are awesome.
Destruction is bliss.

I hate the fact that I'm about to derail this thread with something I'm completely embarrassed about. But yes, I did concept work for those horses. Kinghts Kingdom 2004 was originally meant to be a future medieval line, with robotic horses and transforming castles and so forth. Although most of the "future" aspect was lost in the final version of the theme, the robo wheeled horses stayed in.

For the record, I'd like to state that I designed robot horses, I designed jet horses, I designed hover horses, I designed speederbike horses. None of my designs had wheels on them. The wheeled versions were all the modelbuilder's doing, I wash my hands of it.

Although, in hindsight, I should have done motorcycle horses, because that would have been sweet. Especially if they were on FIRE.

Mike's terrible shame aside, I really like the idea for a brikwars army.

Much to the creator of this thread's dismay, I will bring this back to metal: I have created a fairly cool lego electric guitar.

But isn't that still off topic? I ask, but immediately am imagining it on the battlefield.

I smile... what kind of guitar?

Due to lack of black pieces, it's gray. But I think it looks decent... A bit bulkier than I would have liked, but still, pretty cool. A drumkit is next, I swear. A metal army... This is going to be sweet!

CLEARLY EVERYONE BUT TOBACONIST LIKES THE METAL IDEA so we should mearly focus on refineing it

for the infantry there should be eight mosh guys who basically live to destrtoy all structures on the field
four executioner types with axes and chains
also two grupies who are carying spare equipment

vehicles: there should be a tour van with fold out sides with turets attached

three motercycles with asult rifle wielding riders
a mettal car like the one mike showed
a parade raft for band to play on since drums can't be caried around

special units:
singer
lead guitar
bass guitar
drummer
keyboardist

also a few technitions for mechanicle work and to be in charge of explosives

any comments or additions would be great :)

Pyrotechnician

Skill: 1d6
Move: 5"
Armor: 1d6

Special Ability: Things that go boom are the pyrotechnician's specialty. He loves anything to do with fire, especially if that fire can make big noises and pretty colors at the same time. The Pyro can use his Action to set Explosives that will go off in 1d6 turns. The explosion has a damage radius of 1d6 inches, but any Performer or Hero within 2d6 inches that is not killed in the blast gains an extra die to all Skill rolls for 1d6 turns after the explosion goes off. Fans within 2d6 inches get an Adrenaline Charge from the bang and gain +2 to all damage rolls related to Moshing or general Property Destruction.

Seriously, this could work. For the uninitiated:

vs

I love that statue with the huge black wings on top of the Lego version stage. I want one. As a side note, I don't know what could possibly be more metal than playing the guitar with a flamethrower on your face.

For those of you who don't speak German, he's not saying "Firefly", he's saying "Feuer Frei", which in German means "open fire", or "fire at will". Literally, "fire freely".
