So, what do you do next? There is one door you haven't been through yet.

Eh, we can fuck around with the snowman later, I will lead the party to the unexplored door.

Re: In the Cold North - Forum RPG
You go to the strong yet broken door. Saucix opens it fully.
Behind it you see a square room. It is empty, but on the floor is an inscription of a large circle, with five curved lines going from the center to the edge of the circle. At the end of each line is a round slot in the floor, about half a foot in diameter. Yet another white stone orb is placed in the farthermost slot.

"What in Pakkaan's tusks is this? An affront to his godliness or an altar in his honour?"
As an experiment, I place the orb in one of the slots.

You place the orb in the nearest slot. Nothing seems to happen.

Okay, so we've got two orbs in the slots, one orb with mr. freeze, and goblins took another one. Where's the fifth one?
My vote's on checking out the spooky mirror more.

Re: In the Cold North - Forum RPG
"No? That may be the greatest suggestion I've heard yet."
"The goblins had one of the stones which fit into these slots. I saw it's shape in their packs as they left. By my count, we have three of the stones here, and we know who carries the fourth. Wherefore could lead us to the fifth? I loath to admit it, but those creatures of darkness have at least one of the keys, and more knowledge on this place than we do. We have already buried the hatchet with the goblins - perhaps now is the time to come with them with an offering of..." Gerald makes a disgusted face before proceeding, "...peace."
An awkward silence hangs in the air. "No, really. We can come to them under the guise of seeking passage to the nearest town for supplies, and will pay handsomly for supplies. This will bring us closer to the next stone, and if luck favors us and the sun smiles upon our mission, they will know where we can find the next stone. Or perhaps they can tell us what they might know about this place and its purpose. I assure you that I despise working together with such filth more than any among us, but if this is what must be done to fulfill my contract, I shall honor our agreements."
Are there any spare shields or one-handed weapons lying around all the goblin corpses? My AC's high, but I suppose it could always be higher if I'm willing to switch over to a straight-sword or an axe. I'm totally still gonna carry around a longsword for when I need it.

Re: In the Cold North - Forum RPG
There's a waiting list in case members of our party die - however you should totally come play "of games and thrones" with me and knolli because right now it's just us. I like being the only PC in his campaign and making all the decisions and all, but shit's lonely yo.

There are several short swords and shields lying around the dead goblins.
I've put you on the waiting list Alcatraz.

I inspect different shields and swords until I find a comfortable pair with good balance.
"These shall serve somewhat nicely for my needs." I equip them both.
