Gregor flicks his dagger around and throws it at Fyespon.

Rolled Ranged 6+1 vs. AC

But the dagger hits the goblin handle first, and bounces off harmlessly.

Saucix tries to take out Fyespon's wolf with an arrow.

Rolled Ranged 17+2 vs. AC, rolled damage 7+1

The arrow hits the wolf in the guts. It howls in pain but keeps running.

Gerald can't let Fyespon get away, and turns back to fire a crossbow bolt.

Rolled Ranged 9+1 vs. AC

But to no avail. The bolt flies past the goblin.

Frustrated by his lack of combat success so far, Adarim takes another stab at the goblin he's fighting.

Rolled 13+1 vs. AC, rolled damage 3

To his astonishment, he runs the goblin through! The vile creature falls down dead.

(OOC: I swear I did not cheat, Adarim actually hit something. 13 is your lucky number it seems.)

Next to him, Logan pins down the wolf he's fighting and tears its throat open. Blood splatters across the snow.

All the remaining goblins turn back and start fleeing the field.

We'll probably have a better chance catching the swordgoblin on foot.

When it's safe, I'll retrieve my dagger.

Better start keeping track of what spells you have left.

Saucix: Sleep

Nisos: Charm Person

I really should have used sleep when I was next to Fyespon. I feel so silly.

Oh yeah, Sleep has a range of 240', I should have written that in the spell description. I feel so silly.

OOC: I thought a day had passed, damn.

Cast charm person on Fyespon if I'm in range, granted that he is probably a powerful character, this will hopefully distract him. If he is out of range, aim at a ranged armed goblin and have him shoot at Fyespon.

Jeez if we could sleep him that'd be great.

Otherwise I'm just gonna have to shoot at fyespon again.

Saucix extends his elven soothing powers in Fyespon's direction.

Rolled 10 for level's worth of creatures put to sleep

Fyespon and the wolf fall asleep and topple over. The goblin on foot drops sleeping as well. So does the nearest bowgoblin and its wolf.

The other bowgoblin makes its escape from the battlefield.

The fight is over as suddenly as it begun. Gregor retrieves his dagger. The goblins and wolves snore.

Re: XP: You'll get your XP when you get back to town. There's still quite a bit to go until Level 2. I can reveal that you get XP from gold so don't forget to loot people. Also, Logan gets a share of the combat XP from any encounters he takes part in.

Feed dead goblin to Logan, give positive re-enforcement, then assist in looting and tying up sleeping goblins.

So, do we go back to that stone place, or do we head back to town? I recommend that we rest at some point, as me and Saucix are basically useless at this point
