Short story: I'm looking for good podcasts. Any suggestions? Preferably about geeky topics, but tell me any of your favorites.

I'm getting back into painting wargame miniatures. I gave up on that several years ago when Games Workshop prices got too high for me, but nowadays they have some competition and I bought a bunch of minis from a cheaper and maybe less evil company. Now, painting minis is most of the time not a very brain engaging activity, so my thoughts tend to get stuck in a loop where I mentally rewatch a bad Simpsons joke or something over and over. Unless I have something interesting to listen to, of course! I've gone through most of Mark Rosewater's MTG podcast archive (the interesting ones at least) and I don't know where to turn next.

Harry: Are you fucking serious?
Remus: Well yes, but I don't see how that applies here.

Its a fan made version of StarWars episode 3, as an mp3.
Click on the "Archive Episode, listen now" button.

I think its about 20 minutes.

I posted this on another forum and a guy said it was better than the movie.

I think I also posted this here years ago.

Thanks. For a long time I thought I didn't get the plot of Star Wars Episode III. But now I realize that I understood it all along, sadly.

It only lasted for a single color on 2 minis though, so I need more

I can't give much advice, but don't listen to podcasts based around TV shows because when the show gets cancelled or finished then the podcast gets cancelled or they try to continue it with boring top 10 lists so they can stretch out the material as long as possible. I generally listen to review podcasts, but I mostly read blogs instead of listening to podcasts. I normally just listen to classic rock when I am working, I find KISS and Queen are best for working music.

SHAMELESS PLUG: Me and a few friends are starting a podcast soon about really shitty movies, like Sky High and Superman IV. I'll post a link when we finish an episode.

Your podcast is already suspect because Sky High is an excellent film.

Agreed
Skyhigh was my friend's idea. I think it is decent, but I think the film is too cheesy for it's own good. I haven't seen it since it came out but that's what I remembered thinking. I was 7 when the film came out though, so my opinion will be a lot different.
