Man, Proudfrost was a bit of a dill weed. All that's left of him is that huge ice sculpture that still hasn't melted completely.
Also, I follow the nice ladies advice and go back to the inn to sleep.
The only unflawed system is Lego System.

The crowd leaves the cathedral, murmuring but somewhat reassured. You get back to The Old Bear and go to sleep.

The morning is cold and clear. You wake up to the curses of pedestrians slipping on frozen slush in the street.

Suspicious.
Adarim
Travel forth with the party. I have a bad feeling about this.

Once again you set off into the wilderness, across creaking snow and bare patches of yellow grass. The first day of travel passes without incident, and night is approaching. That is when Gerald spots something in the sky far to the north. Some flying creature. It is impossible to make out any details at this distance, but it seems larger than any common bird.

Adarim
Follow suite. It would not be wise to be caught in the open if that thing is hostile.

Ready bow.

"Alright, I don't feel safe with that thing around, but I don't want to kill it painfully. How's about we kill it fast with a combined bow strike?"

It's too far away to be hit with a bow shot. If you want to do that you need to get closer.

Screw closer. I hide until I can make out what that thing is. And if it is a dangerous thing, I keep hiding until its well past.

Does it appear to be hunting, or searching for anything? Like flying in circles over the same spot or whatever

I theorize that depending on it's size, it could be anywhere from a friendly Great Eagle from Lord Of The Rings to a indestructible, three headed Thunderbird from Native American mythology. Irritating person's tip: Watch and observe. Try to carefully guess at it's size.

You get in cover behind some rocks and wait, watching the unknown flying creature. It is flying from west to east, but apparently also a bit southwards, because it is getting bigger. You make out flapping wings, a long and thin tail or set of tail feathers, and a hump on its back.

Great eagles are hardly friendly:

I'm going to quietly call Gerald and ask him to come over with me for a quick meeting.

"Okay guys, here's what I think we should do. If you don't like it, we'll try to avoid it, but I've never liked birds and I don't want to worry about this guy catching us off guard. Nisos, if you fire a Magic Missile, it will probably fly over and try to attack us or flee. If it comes to attack us, Adarim and I will shoot arrows at it. As it flies closer, Gerald will fire his crossbow and Gregor will then charge it and perform a coup-de-grace."
