Instead of putting everyone's factions in it, which will take up loads of space, wouldn't it be smarter to have it create a folder on your miniSD card whereby you can dump your own cards in? You can write it so that it will look for subfolders of "faction name" and then put all those cards in a new faction section. So in its folder I put a new folder called ASAG and dump my cards in there, and it will see that ASAG folder and create a menu item for the ASAG faction. Is this easy to do?

Some key forum minifig characters can be added instead, like MFS.

Released an update today, check it out. Now there is a section called Calculators that will be helpful for figuring out how some stuff works. Right now only the Momentum calculator works, the rest will come soon. Quantumsurfer made the buttons for the new Calculator section and the Calculate button, so major thanks to him for his efforts.

Non-profit, yes, but I want to be able to distribute it without copyright infringement. Except for infringement against Mike because I don't remember him authorizing this. I still have to edit the Zombie card description and the Gladiator card needs like everything changed. I might just delete that one altogether because it kinda sucks anyway, I just took it because it was formatted well.

Since you told us yesterday that you were, more or less, bored, I was wondering what was actually happening with this app?

Cause I've been thinking recently of a feature that could be useful. It's just a table where you enter basic info such as Structure Level, Size, Movement, Mind level,... and it returns an armor value with its cost, the cost for the mind, the type of mind (submissive, simple,...) cost of the propulsion, total cost in cp,...

Its very usefull for managing a large number of stats or to get a specific CP value.

Good job editing that before I saw it.

Uhh in the calculators section the last button doesn't work but it is called Minifig Cost, I intend to do something like that in there that lets you get the base cost of a minifig.

Okay I'm not done coding it yet, but the minifig stat page, you will like choose the skill of your minifig (d4, d6, d8, etc...) and then you choose its armour type, and then you choose the minifigs' move.

The armour bit is a little complicated but here's how I think it will work, someone tell me if this makes no sense...
A: You choose no armour, so you don't pay any extra CP.
B: You choose 2010 Body Armour, total armour becomes 5, +1CP
C: You choose 2010 Heavy Armour, you get Armoured status, +2CP
D: You choose Light Armour, then you type in how much extra armour the minifig has, this is like my Mimetic Armour which does not convey Armoured status.

If you choose either of the 2010 armours then when you hit calculate, if you didn't make your move either 4 for Body Armour or 3 for Heavy Armour it will add +1 CP or +2CP respectively. I figure it is just one for Body Armour because you pay 1 CP for 2" standard propulsion for any size or structure level of creation, and I don't do half-of-a-CP calculations, so rounding up it is just 1. For Heavy Armour you imagine a Size 1 creation with Armoured status with 5 move which is 5CP because it is Armoured. A default minifig only spends 2.5 CP on propulsion meaning the CP increase for the propulsion is another 2.5 CP, but again, rounding stuff, so I'll just say the propulsion costs 4.5 CP (in order to make the final CP cost be a whole number) for their 5" of move and then +1 CP for each inch thereafter.

Cost for the Light Armour is done as 2 to the power of that number -1. For example, if you do +1 armour, then you're going with 2⁰ which is +1 CP. If you choose +2 then it is 2¹ or +2CP, and +3 armour would be 2² or +4 CP. The cost will exponentially increase thereafter, making ridiculous armour bonuses become ridiculously expensive.

Update Complete

The Minifig Cost calculator works now according to how I described it above. Obviously you could make a minifig more expensive by giving abilities such as Leadership or Compensating, but I can't possibly determine the cost for every ability ever and incorporate them into this application. But whatever. This should help you get your guys' stats out faster if you make new units, or at least get the most boring part out of the way. Who wants to spend ten minutes per unit calculating its base CP cost? Figuring out special abilities and other stuff like that is way more fun than tallying CP, so now your phone can do it for you.

The formula Mike came up with was kind of convoluted anyway, I understand it, but it's complicated, and working in things like armour cost make it confusing because of the stupid fraction issue with double-move cost on an odd number of movement inches competing with the fraction mind cost that was built in.

2010 Body armor grants 2 to defense, not just 1. Should go up to 6 AV total.
