I pretty much never put the stickers on anymore. I have the sheets stacked up somewhere on my building desk in case I find a use for them.IVhorseman wrote:I pretty much always put the stickers on out of habit.Insert_blank wrote:If you bought it for parts why did you apply the stickers?

If I want the model itself I apply the stickers. If I want the parts I don't. I bought 3 fire mechs which I didn't apply stickers too since I'm planning on replacing red bits for other colors. But I applied all the stickers to the golden mech because it's awesome and I don't wanna change it.

Re: The official LOOT topic
mom's school got a big donation of bonkles and technic stuff, and I got to browse around:
Scrounged together two near-complete slizers, but the real moneyshots are the old motors+remotes, both of which work though one motor is missing the battery cover.
... I guess I can build a motorized spacetank now.

It's been a while since I've got lego as a gift:

Wait! Ice Daemons? They do Ice Daemons now? I see I will require a visit to a toy store in the very near future. Ice Daemons vs. Ice Planet dudes would be awesome.

Desipte the Caramal Battle Droid, the Tank should make a fine addition to my Briktoid forces...Silverdream wrote:Got two of these for the treads and parts:

Hell, Robot Chicken did an entire series of skits where that was the punchline.

Got this because I thought I'd use the whit pieces, and haven't had the heart to disassemble, the model is too nice. I may rebuild into the Rattler Hyperion from Burnout, which I played a lot after EA's humble bundle, it's my favourite car (at least that I've unlocked).
As for Non-Lego:
BASK IN ITS CUDAry GOODNESS! A GTX 770, It'll be powering dual monitored gaming, which my little 1 Gb HD 7770 GHz couldn't manage, so I upgraded, that and Nvidia has now put out a new tech for its 660+ & 700 series called shadowplay, which encodes on the GPU for near zero frame drop, unlike say FRAPS. I may or may not also believe this'll crack LDD in the balls and get me more frames, If not then I can be certain its a CPU bottleneck, and that can be fixed with a quick overclock.

That tank droid is really cool, and a godsend for getting treads. I got two of the early version with the wookies.

I'm getting a bunch of Bionicle stuff as of late. Won't go into details, a lot of stuff from different years.
