I dislike the ker-speech table. I like the idea of permanent effects, but a) players are smart enough to think of one disadvantage and one advantage on their own without being limited by a table and b) +/-d6 in either direction is a little too much. I think +/-1 is too boring too, and i'm not sure if there's a middle ground.

I feel the same way, and I'm still mulling this one over.

Meanwhile, I just uploaded a cleaned-up and slightly updated Chapter MC.

I love that Humanity illustration! And yay! Almighty Benny!

Typo found edit:

and the Spirits of the Game act to cultivate and intesify that awesomeness

Although, it sounds fine if you read it in George McFly's voice as he's telling Lorraine that she's his density.

Through ignoring most of this topic I have come to the conclusion that I want to make a hero that ruins other hero's speeches by making overwhelmingly loud fart and poop sounds at them with a megaphone through the whole thing.

Thoughts?

I like it.
But he has to hold the megaphone up to his ass.

And how about when the other player is making his/her big speech, they try to heckle or interrupt them with fart and poop sounds. Depending on the group this could be fun.

Just uploaded the revisions to chapter 8, cutting it down from 212k to 169k. The Fire rules got some particular attention, and I brought back Power (does anyone remember the old Power rules?) so I wouldn't have to keep saying "Weapon Size Limits." And also I have some secret plans for Power later, if I do end up deciding to eliminate CP completely.

Also, after editing this chapter, I suspect that Metalbeard is a ripoff of the Von Bragstein Boiler-Mech.

Next up, chapter 9. What a pain in the butt that's going to be.
