Problems with the HUGE manual?
What do you guys do about the HUGE manual? My parents wont let me print it up because it would waste all of the ink(Printer ink s like $30 a cartridge!)
What should I do? What do you do?

Read it online. It's a lot easier, and Rayhawk makes revisions all the time, meaning you have to print it out again in order to get up to date.
Plus, this way saves ink. And one other thing, you don't have to calculate everything. Just print out the stuff like the charge rules and the minifig stat cards. Stuff that you are going to reference a lot.

I copied the whole (old) text to a MS Word document. Then i spent a whole Sunday afternoon reading all the rules and then i made a medieval battle against pirates. Pirates won.

About 50% of the rulebook is easily memorized, and 45% is dedicated to telling you how to make stats for custom creations. You only need the creation rules when you're making stat cards, so you can leave those online since I do stat cards on my computer anyways. For the 5% of the gameplay rules which aren't easy to remember (fire damage rules are a good example) you can usually read them a few times and then condense them down to fit on one sheet, which you can print.

I am currently printing off everything from the beginning to the end of the 2nd chapter of the 2001 rules (and will print off different parts later).
