Blueprints Turn 11

Postby Apollyon » Wed Jan 15, 2014 1:51 pm

Ghost Division played by Scratch

Image

An OTC gets picked up.

Image

Then the two remaining DSM defending the base get killed by the Ghost Division.

Image

Apollyon fires all Roboraptor's weapons at Dr. Braghardt's Death Mobile from almost point blank range.
Despite poor rolls the Death Machine loses another point of size damage.

Image

Then Apollyon steers the Roboraptor right into the Death Machine. The Raptor grapples it and both machines end up
in a deadly embrace.

Image

In a surprise move the hero leaves the Roboraptor and flys upwards.

Image

He grabs Braghardt who has not time to react.

Image

Holding Braghardt firmly Apollyon divebombs...

Image

And slams him into the ground!

Image

While Braghardt is stunned Apollyon activates his pain amplifier to distract the two spacemen nearby while Raszack,
who saw everything, arrives.

I called it quits here. Scratch wins. There was only one DSM (unarmed) left in the city hall. GG.

What a mess! Do you remember how neat&clean that playfield looked when the battle was started?
It was an epic fight with lots of destruction and bloodshed.
The most memorable moment to me was when Piltogg came up with that feat to combine all nerby vehicles into
the Death Mobile. I thought he had bagged it in with this but it turned out otherwise. He took the manly route
and decided to fight on when he could have easily left the battle with Braghardt's spaceship in order to complete
his objective.

Aftermath:

Image

Dr. Braghardt is taken prisoner by the Briktopians

Image

While he is being shipped off to a confinement complex the bulk of the Briktopian forces arrives.

Image

Objective completed: Briktopia now has access to AC teknology.
While i already know what the next forum battle of this storyline will be like.

This was an enjoyable battle to watch. The carnage level was great and giant robots are always a plus.

This was probably the most epic battle since ZZD. I loved it. It's too bad I took my hiatus during the middle of this, oh well, at least my team won! :D

fairly anti-climactic final turn, but I felt that the game went very well, and is certainly amoung the most sucessful forum battles I've seen.

Apparently something has borked up with Apollyon's imagehosting website.

They are hosted on Brickshelf which seems to be down at the moment. I think it will be back soon.
