More like the Kool-Aid Man.

About a month ago I picked up a huge box of assorted Lego at a yard sale for $5. I've found 30 or so space and castle figs so far, two MISB sets, and bucketloads of old grey, and I still haven't sorted the entire thing yet. Glee!

*sob*

This is just like my friend, who never builds with his Lego, only stores it, and he gets up at like 8:30 and finds MISB sets, giant buckets of space.. and I get up at 6:45, go looking for hours, and find nothing. I bloody hate him.
I think those stats only apply to non-Mexicans.

Oooh... But imagine the magic in holding a never before opened lego set from some twenty odd years ago... And then ripping the box to pieces and assembling the set and laughing at collectors... Oohhh...

Ouch. That could be a deep touch for collectors.

I think the trailer copied kool-aid man's speech.

For me, it would depend on the set. If it's, say, a 300-dollar set, would you rip it to pieces or sell it so you can buy MORE Legos?

It depends. Would I rather have the set's parts, minifigs, and general awesomeness of the 80's, or would I rather trade it it for things that were greater in volume, but not in style?

For example, I would kill for any Classic Castle, but I don't much care about Classic Space. So I would rather keep the Castle, but sell Space and buy something else. Like a Death Star. Or a Green Grocer.
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

Holy crap, you'd take Classic Castle over Classic Space?

Sorry, X-man. When I was a kid, the name of the MOC was a castle. Medieval is just cool.

In further note, my school has a grade 11 Ancient Civs Histroy class, which I will definitely be taking. I don't think there's one for future civs.

My school has an Ancient History as well.
As for Classic Castle vs. Space, I think I'm about 50/50 between the two. I love the Space sets, yet I love the Castle minifigs.
