It has to be the GTC axes. But I think sigfig has a boner for the vast amounts of sand green.

There's plenty of nice gold elements too. I bet it's at least 100 US dollars, though.

Re: 2014 sets
The really nice thing (and the thing that makes the set so expensive) is Smaug's wings. Those aren't just made to look soft, they are soft. AND they fold up. For real.
If you don't want the dragon (I'm looking at you Silent), just wait for it to show up on Bricklink without the figures. You'll very likely be able to get it for half price, maybe even less.

Also, I think Smaug is supposed to be microscale.
This sig is too fucking large: show anyway

Perfect set to build a Dwarf Fortress around. Is this it for the Hobbit/ LOTR stuff?

Yup!
Also we got some minecraft set pics.

I'd be all over these for getting earth tones in bulk, but the license will likely bump their price.

I agree with the guy in the comments that those sets look ridiculous. You'd be better off buying those parts separately.

Rumored new theme for 2015, 'Elves':

Don't take it for granted as it is only a namedrop by now.
But dang I'd be hyped for a kinda-forestmen revival in the form of this.

I heard from a source (won't name them) that it's a Friends-style line. My guess is it's going to be a Manly Santa Day set/line.

Re: 2014 sets
Well that would be sorely disappointing.
Someone compiled "supposed" new sets, as always, grain of salt first etc:

Jurassic world, another dinosaur line, hooray, also supercars and more elite agents is good.Zahru II wrote:Well that would be sorely disappointing.

Only problem with silver bullets is the price of silver.
Re: 2014 sets
I like that there's an entry that's just called "Fire Suitcase," no set number. It sounds like something out of an Axe Cop theme. "Skull Spiders" also.
Weird if they're really bringing back the original Bionicle characters. Is there anyone in the Bionicle age group who was even alive when these characters were around?
What's sad is that I'm so out of the loop that I don't even know if anything on this list is true or not.
