Re: The Republik of Magyar
Gotta love a good casemate tank, and this qualifies for that - the way the hull fits over/around the tracks works well, and the sloping on the casemate (I like how it gets less steep lower down) all makes this a very cute little death machine.

It says it's a railgun.

Nagy Szél (Big Wind) - Support Platform
Once fitted with giant jet engines to put out large oil fires, the "Nagy Szél" has been refitted with two giant autocannons, in order to be used for military purposes. These guns are well known for their incredibly high fire rate and their ability to nail down ground and air targets alike, making it a dreaded opponent on the battlefield.
A new type of handcannon has been introduced in the Magyar army, to offer more versatility for infantry platoons. These guns can fire in two differnt modes: either as a normal cannon with rather short range or as a mortar cannon for targets, that are further away from the gunner.

I love this army, the vehicles are some of the most creative I've ever seen. I like the leather jackets on the infantry too.

Wowza.. nice work! What would it take to actually fire those Autocannons successfully, though? A decently high roll, I'd imagine, but then again being designed for combat against larger units ensures a certain amount of positive skill modifiers.

Re: The Republik of Magyar
I plan to use them as Size 3 machine guns, that deal 3d8 damage instead of 3d6 damage, mostly due to being wider and therefor more powerful than ordinary machine guns.Sir Sporktimus wrote:Wowza.. nice work! It's actually based on the Hungarian 43M Zrinyi, also from WW2. But yeah, the Hetzer was also in use by the Hungarian forces during that period.

A very nice, cohesive army you have there. The tanks remind me of a pizza topping for some reason

Toldi - Armoured Power Suit
The Toldi has been developed as a response to the Czech Alltimate "White Knight" Hardsuit, while possessing the offensive capabilities of a light tank. In spite of it's rather bulky design, this power suit is fairly agile itself, yet also supports three jumpjet engines, allowing limited flight over short distances. Furthermore, the Toldi is armed with an autocannon and an energy saber, both being powered by OT Crystals.

Elnök (President) Károly Szarvas is a rather modern politician, compared to the more konservative Małgorzata Sadow, and is beloved by the Magyar population, especially by the youth. Szarvas has often been described as a handsome guy with lots of charm, a trait, that proved to be quite useful in many diplomatic missions.
Furthermore, the Toldi received some hands to make weapons interchangable.

Botond - Heavy Transport
The Botond is one of the oldest Magyar designs, being in service, since Brik War II. It's most recent revision received better engines, enabling areal and space flight, as well as an armarment of three laser cannons (one of them, being rear-mounted). Unlike other transports of it's kind, the Botond is able to ram itself into enemy warships and release it's passengers afterwards, making it a perfect vehicle for boarding parties.
Fits 2 crewmen and 5 passengers.

Ijászok (Archers)
The Magyar army is known for upholding ancient military traditions, that were dropped by other armies ages ago. The art of archery is one of them. Only the most skilled soldiers will be able to master this weapon and manage to surpass more contemporary rifle infantry in ranged combat. Furthermore, these archers always hold an explosive or incendiary arrow in reserve, making them a quite versatile unit on the battlefield.
Horse archers? Any time!
