The Cheyanne was originally designed as a strike fighter, being able to scramble and reach a target in record speed. However the design proved so successful that a heavier variant was produced, the Comanche. This model took everything from the previous iteration and upgraded it. The fire-power was tripled which included the use of the experimental Choctaw bombs. Developed to negate armoured targets, when these bombs explode they activate the minute teleportation devices built inside the shrapnel. This means targets are effectively torn from inside out as the shrapnel teleports inside their body and exits with explosive force. Many a soldier has mistakenly believed themselves safe inside the armoured hull of an APC only to smell the stench of ozone before violently being ripped apart.

The Comanche also incorporates a six wing design, all of which can be repositioned to greater aid a particular aerial manoeuvre. This means the Comanche has almost unmatched aerial prowess able to engage multiple enemy targets simultaneously. The Comanche's wide range of armaments allows it to engage both ground and aerial targets with eases.

Currently the DarkFire Knights employ several such fighters in their ongoing crusades giving them almost unrivalled air superiority in any given theatre of war.

Design notes
I built this fighter in a couple of days, it took me a long time to find the correct parts in the right colours to build it. I am pretty happy how this design came out although I may change the tail design at some point in the future because it looks a little clunky. Currently this is the only flyer I have in my army and thus I have plans to build a couple more of a similar design. Bricklink here I come!

Comments and criticism would be appreciated!

"Open s-foils to attack position"

This is a great build you have here. Lovely design too. Although it's not the largest attack fighter, nor the most armoured, it can still pack a punch against its opponents.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Spork had an accident lol

ALSO, that's an awesome ship. S-Foils are always great. The weaponry is also cool. I also am a fan of the laying down pilot.

I like this.  It's unique and complex without looking too cluttered, which is hard to pull off.

It wouldn't match the vehicle concept at all, but this makes me want to see what it'd look like if you removed the tail and re-mounted the cockpit so it could rotate and allow the pilot to stand vertically, to give it a more spacey feel like a Starfury or utility drone.

I'm not too happy with the cockpit since it forces the pilot to lie flat so they don't look like they are piloting it. I've tried to build it with several different cockpit pieces but they don't have the same sleek look.
