Re: Codex Perwar
Something different this time, probably local defense on a Flash Gordon-y planet:
Vertegard by Csaba, on Flickr
Think of it as a space chariot, but self propelled and able to rotate 360 while staying in the same spot.
Getting in/out of it is a little convoluted:

The aptly named 'Mule' is a popular heavy-hauler unit in Perwar, used by many mining corporations as it is both compact and powerful when it comes to hauling materials. Each model is outfitted with a comm. unit and essential survival accessories for the driver, making it a desirable option for long-distance delivery as well.

Re: Codex Perwar
nice use of those doors on the front! The studs on the front bonnet kind of ruin the shaping of vehicle though I doubt tiling it would help keep the line either! Great work love the halo reference

Re: Codex Perwar
Some colony worlds are just left to die in the dust after the end. Unsalvagable and barely inhabitable, these dead worlds are but husks of their former selves, often reduced to endless dunes or arid wastes. To survive in this no man's land, one's best bet is to find and 'tame' a fabled waste strider. Noone really knows how survivalists got their hands on these contraptions. Most of them do not really have the mechanical aptitude to even understand the machine and treat them as one would their trusty steed. Together they ride the ashes of civilization, the strider serving both as loyal transport and beast of burden. Its utilities also include drilling for what little water sources one may find with its solidlight beak and the... cloaca-cannons are useful in fending off raiders and mutants.

This is a great build. It reminds me of like a robot chocobo, I love it! Also dig the straw hat with the respirator. I may end up borrowing that idea.
