Good news! I figured out how to export the timelapse to YouTube instead of torturing you all with another animated gif.

How many frames in the video?

What size image were you painting on?

You have a stubby thumb.

Looks amazing!

The video had around 400 frames. I painted the original in 6k, although I saved the in-progress time lapse images down in 1080p for YouTube purposes. The hands are purposefully distorted because minifigs don't understand human anatomy, but it seems like even extreme distortion still doesn't look intentional when it comes to hands.

Yeah you would have needed to twist them or something, to make it super obvious.
It was confusing to me because I knew you could do it correctly, but you didnt.

Amazing! You should do some iPhone backgrounds.

It was a little more obvious in the original, if you count the fingers

Maybe that's what I should do, go in and add some more fingers.

I was thinking about mentioning how good The Human image was.

Its still a bit subtle though.
The extra fingers around the back could be read as attached to a different hand.
But thats just what happens when you make an octohand.

If you make a hand where the origin of the fingers is clearly seen, then people can see, oh look 7 fingers on a hand.
When you occlude the origin its harder to see that.

(I'm not advocating changing your image, yes or no. Not sure where you would squeeze them in.)

The shape depicted is actually a tetrahedron. :rtfm:

To further confuse the issue, the faces of the Octahedron and Icosahedron are also triangles, here depicted off center and nearer the bottom of the image.

If we were to discuss shapes as inherently greatest through quantity of edges wouldn't the circle be considered the greatest
