the warhammer bug whispered in my ear and I've been thinking a lot about trying it again, I was turned away from it years ago after wasting like $400 on models and equipment that never got done properly

overpriced models back then, limited selection of supplies, and the paints I recieved were awful back then.

I will say though that the style of the new Primaris space marines is really cool.

One thing I don't like about GW in general is they price their stuff according to nerd scale, 3 chaos space marines cost more than 3 tyranid termagaunts for example, just because they're "statistically better" in the game.

Its so true and the prices have just kept climbing for literally no reason. 7 (yes just 7) plague marines is $60 bucks Canadian while 10 Rubric Marines are the same price with the same amount of detail and even more options. while just 10 regular chaos space marines are $47 and they have more options than a space marine tactical squad and are cheaper. It rattles me.

That being said if you do end up getting into the hobby id love to see your work!

They have been doing this type of pricing since the 1980s.

I b ought a set of choss spess marines and like 12 paints. brushes are the hardest to find. I ended up getting some stuff from a local store since they were sold out of citadel brushes

butchered my first marine got angry at it trying to paint so now im priming them all still on the rack and painting them before fully assembling

I recall trying that once actually. It turned out pretty good however word of wisdom something i did not do. don't paint where you will glue them. The glue will melt he paint first thus making them even more of a pain to assemble.

I also just got a great unclean one today and have been working on painting it here how it has gone so far. Still lots to do still very WIP however im pretty happy with how its gone so far will hopefully have it done with better pictures tomorrow. I've also magnatized the arms.
