Re: Ragnablok: The Official Thread
I also had 5 years of content planned ahead but I decided to dump it all in order to tie my stuff into Ragnablok and increase the stakes significantly. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't get what's the fuss about. The war itself is literally Immortal. The rest is just a matter of retooling - if anything you can revise your pitch and iron out the not so good parts.

I have to agree. This entire post-chain is a very philosophical way of looking at life. Kind of reminds me of an old work rule:Darkstorm wrote:Tzan wrote:Its true, I can be a very spiritually inspiring person, ya know, when I get around to it.dilanski wrote:This speaks to me on a spiritual level.Tzan wrote:I've been planning something epic for a long time now, and your plans for ragnablok in no way impedes my ability to procrastinate about it.
Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.

Regardless, I think the Menagerie of Julian is going to have to accelerate their timeline to fit Ragnablok. I already had something planned that fits this perfectly!

Re: Ragnablok: The Official Thread
My own content was made in the style of "Space Country" but It can easily be switched to quite literally anything else. and I'd be happy to.
It seems to me the bandwagon mentality is to abandon the nehellenium kanon, and i'm fine with that, as much as it bugs me that I wasted time and $$ on cameos and such to play a part in the "Space wars", namely with large amounts of IM, M-Throne and USA soldiers, I can switch them to something else in a heartbeat.
I've decided to get out early. Everything of mine up until this point is going to be considered "dead". Due to a critical mass of magik, explosives and angst across the plane of existence that is the Nehellenium Universe, The Gold Sector, already involved in a large war, proceeded to get seperated from the rest of the galaxy, and no one will ever know how it ended.
I might do a "sendoff" soap, wrapping up one or two ambiguous, mysterious storylines that had been hinted at the last year or so, but other than that, you can consider this to be my "participation" to Ragnablok.

I still don't quite understand what it is.
I just understand that everyone appears to be jumping ship, flipping the table, hitting the reset button, whatever. lol

Re: Ragnablok: The Official Thread
This is the sad part of Ragnablok. There's a certain Melancholia to ending a decades worth of storytelling. Sure Nehelenium has grown into this big unapproachable monster of years of discarded plotlines and abandoned ideas. But it's still been massive, and I don't think you can say it wasn't ambitious. It reminds me of the beloved episodic TV shows that kind of just ended when the ratings dropped. Sure they'd go out on a bang, and they likely didn't have even a seasons worth of fresh ideas in them, but it was still sad to see them go.Kastrenzo wrote:I've decided to get out early.
I'm worried there won't be a push to make something better afterwards.
