Graveyard Ambush
The Knights of Lareut and a young maiden travel to a graveyard to mourn and show respect to the brave soldiers who guarded the Kingdom of Lareut in the past.
But suddenly, the dead knights come to life!
Lord Ka, who was killed by one a traitor, sees the current Knights of Lareut as responsible for his death.
In a fit of rage he starts the battle.
On Lord Ka's orders, the other skeletons attack.
Luckily this knight is able to raise her shield in time to block the Skeleton's deadly blow.
Quick on her toes, the knight counters with her ax.
Skeletons bleed black.
A Skeleton readies his javelin.
"Aw man, not again!"
The Skeletons form up on Lord Ka's tomb.
While the Skeleton Assassin sneaks into enemy territory.
Fully recovered from her first encounter, this knight pulls out her crossbow and decides to shoot first and ask questions later.
Including questions like "am I supposed to aim at the Skeleton?"
On the other side of the battle, a knight notices the Skeleton Assassin and decides to do something about it.
"And stay down!"
On the other other side of the battle, a knight lunges at Lord Ka.
"Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!"
Finally finished laughing at the stupidity of the knight's attack, Lord Ka takes a swing at the knight with his mighty black flagpole o' doom.
But his laughing spell has allowed the knight enough time to dodge the blow!
Taking advantage of Lord Ka's exposed side, the knight lunges.
"Who's laughing now?"
Finally coming to his senses, Lord Timothy charges the Skeleton line.
SPLAT!
Lord Timothy tramples his foe and continues his charge.
But his charge is soon brought to a stop.
"Take that!"
Unnoticed in all the commotion, a Skeleton sneaks up on a knight.
And looses the element of surprise.
Meanwhile, a knight chases the recovered Assassin.
While this knight moves slowly toward the battlefield.
Finally at the battlefield, the knight readies her crossbow.
Headshot!
Not wanting to be one up'd by her partner, this knight readies her crossbow.
Groundshot!
With the knights celebrate their victory against Lord Ka, the Assassin sneaks up to Lord Timothy's body.
And deals a killing blow!
Seeing this, a knight shoots at the Assassin with all her might.
"What do you mean there was something in the way?"
With the tombstone in pieces, the pursuing knight continues to chase after the Assassin.
And continues to chase him.
And continues to chase him.
And finally gets fed up running and decides to settle things the old fashioned way.
Realizing he is the last man standing, this Skeleton decides to flee.
Surrounded, the skeleton approaches a statue.
"Did it just-"
"Ahh! It's alive, it's alive!"
Thinking quickly, the knight tries to destroy the statue.
With try being the key word.
In a last ditch effort, a knight hurls her ax at the statue.
But it appears that this knight is just as inaccurate with axes as she is with crossbows.
"Hang on, I'll save you!"
"... -_-"
Impale'd
With the archers dead and the lone knight off who-knows-where, the Skeleton prepares his mace to finish off the knight who killed Lord Ka.
Apparently he hadn't put much thought into anything past that.
And the victory goes to the Knights of Lareut!
An overall shot of the battle.
Thanks for looking!

Very entertaining, especially the bit with the flail. Was it a solo battle?

I'm glad you guys liked it!
It was a solo battle (the closest thing to a LEGO fan I know is my little brother, who refuses to play because I always "cheat").
As for the mace/flail/whatever, I thought it made it a bit anticlimactic, but when the alternative was another dozen or so pictures as the Skeleton and the knight battled it out, I'm very glad the guy got a critical failure.

I dunno, Pesgores tends to get a little overzealous about forum battles

You are correct.IVhorseman wrote:I dunno, Pesgores tends to get a little overzealous about forum battles
I have that urge to organise tournaments if the response of other people is positive (and you never saw my "LEGOlympics"...I made 3 "Olympic games" with LEGO®, with quite a few sports and stats for each individual player. Another tournament I made was a football one, with stats for each minifig of the 62 total, with teams of 8 players each, except one of them).
So I am just organising a little something, and showing to everyone what is happening (Forum Battles tend to be cooler because it involves people we know in the forum).

I understand the need to organize, but you should have been fine just bumping the Top threads since those would lead directly to each individual turn of battle.

Oh everybody quit whining so much. You're just disoriented because you don't have silvadream's posts to complain about and you're not sure what to do.
It seems like that would be true, but you completely underestimate my laziness when it comes to forum moderation. Pegosaurus's bumping technique was the correct one.MasterEcabob wrote:I understand the need to organize, but you should have been fine just bumping the Top threads since those would lead directly to each individual turn of battle.
