Bunker Mayhem
Just a small solo battle I put together over the week. This battle takes place in an isolated desert bunker and pits
Team CROSS
Left to right: Agent Snipe, Agent Dim, Agent Knives, Agent Lead, Agent Ficks, and Agent Teck.
against
Zyle's Gang
Left to right: Jim, Pau, Zyle, Dex, Ruff, and Maij.
The Report:
Both teams move up.
The battle begins.
Sadly, no one died in this opening exchange, although Ruff was knocked over by Agent Dim's grenade.
In the bunker . . .
The heroes duke it out.
By the fence . . .
Agent Teck trips SSBB style while Pau climbs the fence and Jim misses again.
Back on the plains . . .
Agent Dim and Maij take cover from Agent Snipe.
Ruff, standing out in the open, becomes the first casualty.
Back in the bunker . . .
Agent Ficks slices into the blast door controls and closes them.
Zyle pounds on the door in a fit of rage.
For some reason, Agent Knives decided to face Zyle all on her own. I guess she didn't count on Dex getting in her way.
Back by the fence . . .
Agent Fick recovers (YOU MUST RECOVER!) and throws an energy disk at Pau, knocking him off the fence.
Back on the plains . . .
Maij quickly performs surgery on Ruff.
She amputates his leg and manages to rouse him from unconsciousness.
Just in time for him to get shot by Agent Snipe, again!
Back in the bunker . . .
Agent Lead gives Agent Ficks a boost up on to the roof.
On the roof, Agent Ficks engages Pau in epic medik vs. ninja close combat.
Back by the fence . . .
Agent Teck picks up Agent Ficks knife and throws it at Pau, who ironically blocks it with his own energy disk.
Also, Jim finally decides to do something for once and damages the fence's support frame.
Back on the plains . . .
Maij unleashes her inner amazon and lunges at Dim with the fury of one thousand suns.
(No, she's not snuggling him you perverts!)
However, her rash action puts her right in Agent Snipe's sights. So far this guy has scored every single one of CROSS's kills.
Back in the bunker . . .
Zyle finally breaks through the blast door.
Agent Lead prepares to GTFO, but first fires one last desperate shot on his way out.
Super effective! Critical hit! Enemy Zyle fainted! Agent Lead gained 1337 ossum points!
1337 ossum points or not, Agent Lead still decides to GTFO before Dex burns him to a crisp.
Back by the fence . . .
Pau racks up another kill.
His performance is cut short, however, by a quick shot to the head from Agent Snipe.
Also, Jim completely destroys the fence somehow.
Back by the plains . . .
Lead and Snipe run for the safety of the dunes with Jim and Dex hot on their heels.
Agent Lead manages to get behind a sand dune in time, but Agent Snipe isn't so lucky.
Outnumbered and outmatched, Agent Lead does the only thing he can do, call for backup!
And just in time, the Chief arrives with something that is more than enough to deal with Zyle's two minions - The Storm Slayer!
With a powerful spray of bullets from the helicopter's machine gun turret, the Chief finishes off Jim and Dex once and for all.
Agent Lead grapples onto the Storm Slayer, and the copter flies off into the distance . . .
The final Overwatch.
Stats
Team CROSS
Agent Snipe: 4 Kills
Agent Dim: 0 Kills
Agent Knives: 0 Kills
Agent Lead: 1 Kill
Agent Ficks: 0 Kills
Agent Teck: 0 Kills
The Chief: 2 Kills
Zyle's gang
Jim: 1 Kill
Pau: 2 Kills
Zyle: 0 Kills
Dex: 2 Kills
Ruff: 0 Kills
Maij: 1 Kill
Notes: This battle was originally going to have an air battle between the Storm Slayer and Zyle's ship, the Lofty Load, but I couldn't get the Load to stay in the air, so I just went ahead and made the battle land battle only. For the most part this battle was just an excuse for me to test out my new dice that I got for my birthday. Unfortunately, I barely ever got any high numbers, even on the d12s! Oh well, at least now I know what dice not to use. BTW, the Chief is a completely new minifig I made for Team CROSS. He doesn't have a special code name or weapon yet, but I guess he knows how to drive helicopters.

I'm glad you guys liked the battle! I was aiming for a rugged post-Apoc look with the bunker, and it looks like I pulled it off pretty well.
The only problem with Agent chief is that I couldn't find a helmet to match his uniform, but I guess that just makes him stand out as their leader even more.
I also have two more Agents made in dark gray and purple, but I don't have faces, weapons, or code names for them yet.

I like the use of the tan castle tower poops. I might have to try that
Glory be to the Bomb, and to the Holy Fallout. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be. World without end. May the Blessings of the Bomb Almighty, and the Fellowship of the Holy Fallout, descend upon us all. This day and forever more. Amen!

Well I did make a cargo ship for the bad guys and I was planning on having it do an aerial battle all along but the ship's main guns were on the bottom of the ship so I couldn't really get it to stay in the air without looking extremely lame.
Of course back then I had practically no clue about how to do ship to ship combat either.

Very entertaining write up! The ending was awesome, I thought Agent Lead was doomed!
Also, I really like the way you used elements to show who was firing, especially the laser.
For future reference, your camera may have a close-up feature which is usually represented by a flower icon if it's a Canon. This would make close ups less blurry.

I said "no" to drugs, but they just wouldn't listen...
