Archibald Armored Tank

Post by MasterEcabob » Sun May 10, 2009 7:48 pm

The Archibald is the main battle force of my new army, the Reichens. The Reichens are all that remain of the once great German Empire, and are at constant war with the UNDF.

This was often the last thing a UNDF soldier saw.

The Archibald is extremely well armored and can hold up to three soldiers along with the pilot and gunner.

The pilot was responsible for controlling the tank, and thus his station was littered with buttons and displays.

Image

The main gunner spent most of the trip on the top operating the gun turret, but he could easily go back into the interior via a ladder.

The extra troops were able to deploy into battle through a ramp in the back.

Here they are, charging a UNDF base.

It's very good. The details are awesomely well done.

I'm glad you guys like it, I was quite impressed with it myself, considering its my first attempt at a tank.

Is that ladder really a megablok? Its the exact same size as the LEGO version, the only real difference is that it has studs instead of clips at the bottom.

And as for the peach/yellow mix up, these are just the first few figs. Once my Bricklink order comes in I'll have enough yellow heads for about a platoon of them.
