Death Battle -- Day 1
First turn went by fast. Not much killing though.
- Space Ninjas -
Dark Ka and one Ninja move up all in cover and such.
Another moves over to engage the Aliens.
The rest jump up on the hill. The Ninja with the bomb gets against the wall out of the Pirates' sight, while the Heavy Bolter Ninja fires at a Space Pirate Assassin Droid. He would have missed, but he got the +1 skill modifier because the black Ninja used binoculars to give him accuracy.
And the Droid is down. It could revive in the Pirates' turn though on a roll of 6.
They then took cover.
- End Turn Space Ninjas -
- Vigilantes -
These guys didn't accomplish much. They made it over by the Moon Base, but the sniper missed when he shot at one of the Space Pirates.
- End Turn Vigilantes -
- Space Zombies -
These guys charged. They shot at the gate and the people on top of it. However, all their rolls were bad so they didn't damage the gate. But they did manage to kill one Space Pirate.
- End Turn Space Zombies -
- Space Pirates -
The Pirates took revenge upon the Zombies.
They too had bad aim though, so only one of the undead got put back to rest.
Inside the base, Palomar and Right-Hand Man were confused. They wondered why all of a sudden all these people showed up attacking their fort. Right-Hand Man tore the place apart, and found this in the basement:
A Skull encased in some sort of protective shielding container? What could this be for? Does it have something to do with the Zombies? No one knows but we'll probably find out soon...
Elsewhere, Rocket Girl had more important stuff to worry about than mysterious skulls or whatever. She had a job to do. Despite the awkward angle, she pulled this shot off with a 6 to hit.
BOOM!! One Ninja goes to the grave.
She then jumped back to reload. This ends their turn.
- End Turn Space Pirates -
- Trundle Bus -
The mysterious black ship moved in and shot at the Vigilantes while docking with the Moon Base.
The Black Crotox took a wound but he will survive.
What the fuck? Four Assyrian Star Commandos got out of the Trundlebus and made their way into the Moon Base!! (The roof is still there, I just took it off for pics.) It looks like the Assyrians are here for some strange reason too.
- End Turn Assyrian Star Empire -
- Space Aliens -
The Aliens wasted no time moving in. They shot at the Ninja here and the one with the bomb. But, it turned out that this Ninja was just the product of a high-tech smoke grenade... One shot wasted.
But the other shots counted. The Aliens had tried to shoot the bomb so it would explode, but they missed and hit the Ninja holding it instead. She died and dropped the bomb.
- End Turn Space Aliens -
