I decided to start updating but I realised I didn't know how to reorganise them, since generations are useless because no one's doing the prizes anymore.

Should I divide them by months? It seems it's the best option.

What do you suggest?

Do we even really need them organized into anything?

Fine, we'll just do them and 1 week later no one will even remember it and they will have to search through pages and pages of battles to read a specific one.

Seriously. A database is always nice.

What about the rules were completely out of the place? Chapter 8 coming first, then 6, then 3, then 5, 2, 4, 1, H, Introduction. Oh yeah that would be very cool and practic...

I'm pretty sure he just means having a list in chronological order instead of being separated into "generations" or equally nonsensical divisions of time.
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

What did I suggest after realising "generations" was stupid?!

You suggested organizing by months, which is also unnecessary. Don't use headings; just place the battles in chronological order in a list.

yeah, this topic is already 10 pages long

how about we make a new thread and get it stickied, where everyone who has had a forum battle will be responsible for posting links to theirs (maybe save pes a little trouble). Unless you don't mind, pesgosaurus, because it would be a lot nicer to have a giant master list

and get another multiple page thread on nothing?

Hell, I think just a single thread, stickied at the top, with no replies would be best. Instead of pages and pages of "hey don't forget my battle!", the OP is just edited over and over again as battles come out. Simple, quick, and subtle.

Pesgores, you've pretty much taken it upon yourself to be the representative of all things forum-battle related, so go for it! And then when that one's made and is clearly better, we drop this thread from the sticky list and pretend it never happened.

yeah, you're right, let's make pesgores do it

I almost forgot how opposed I am to worthless multiple page threads

actually, only when they're in General Discussion

But what happens when pes gets lazy and looses track of all the forum battles? At least this way we can remind him of all the battles and remind him to update things every 20 battles or so.

I feel semi-sorry for pes, as everyone just expects him to do everything for everyone, as if being the trianular pope of a small internet fake oppressive religion based on triangles and complex geometry isn't enough of a challenge/boredom he has to do all this crap.
