NMRA Event featuring NELUG

Post by Almighty Benny » Wed Jun 24, 2009 10:14 pm

Hey guys, the National Model Railroad Association is having a convention in Hartford on July 10, 11, and 12

NELUG is going to set up a large LEGO display at the event, so anyone who lives nearby should totally come for a visit.

Since I'll be there helping out, I might try to find a way to set up a small BrikWar after the show hours (6pm) for any BrikWarriors that stop by. Let me know if anyone's interested so I know whether or not to bother bringing BrikWars stuff.

Again, I'm really not sure how feasible this would be, but if anyone is interested we can definitely try to make it work

Too farrrrr.

I will be in Nantucket the 22nd through the 24th or 25th though. Dunno what that means to you, but I will be.

The model train thing sounds cool too though. I'll get my people to talk to your people and see what we can sort out, oh wait I forgot Tiffany is using the Lear Jet to pick up her new diamond Tiara that day. Darn!

There's been a teensy bit of chatter about BrikWars after hours during Lego KidsFest (Hartford, CT, in Nov.). I and some other PennLUG folks will be coming up- any of you NELUGers interested in playing?

Yet another British place named jacked. Hertford being capital of Hertfordshire

Btw, the rule is in England, you take the County name (e.g. Cambridgeshire) and remove the shire to get the Capital town or city. Only Exception being Shropshire.

I'll bet the answer is yes, but we will have to wait for one of the NELUGers to swing by here.

Seems Benny has actually been doing school work or something.
