Here's an idea;
Image
Oil Can
2CP
Can be sprayed or poured in any location up to 5" away*, causing a roughly 2"x2" square (or what have you) of oil to cover the ground. This can make minifigs and vehicles slide, stop, get stuck, or whatever you want. Usable only twice.

Fun Ideas:
See an enemy car coming? Pour a little oil and it'll slip and crash.
Enemy penguins? Spill oil in their feathers.
Send oil through a portalble and watch the guy get all sticky.
Spray it in a guy's eyes and see what he does!

Yes, I know oil cans don't actually spray, but this is BrikWars, not Auto Repair.

*Or, you know, actually oil stuff with it. But where's the fun in that?

you know, i've always wanted a good alternate use for oil cans in a brikwars scenario, but along with brooms, pot, and hair brushes, i can't think of a both tactically efficient and fun/easy methodology as to which it would be brought around.

i'm thinking that this could be used simply to create a sliding surface. if a minifig steps on it, he slips. if a wheeled vehicle goes on it, it skids. for both parties, once they step into an oil patch, they slide in the same direction at their current speed until they regain control 1d6" later, or crash into something.

For whatever reason, I have a lot of those oil cans lying around. I like the whole "shooting oil" idea that Stormzen is pitching, and I'd like to propose an addition.

Have your minifigs pull out their custom Zippos and SET THE OIL STREAM ON FIRE for primitive flame throwers!

Here's my question: I've been trying to figure out what to do with scuba tanks and baseball cap for way to long now. I mean, what the hell are they useful for? The best use I've come up with so far is that the scuba tanks are filled with various chemicals, drugs, and steroids, which benefit the minifigs somehow, increased strength, stamina, ect... No sure how to stat it out, though... Still, what about the baseball caps?

Even default-face minifigs looks awesome with a backwards baseball cap. Here's a side by side comparison.

(Ignore the fire chief hat, that guy lost his cap in the last Brikwar and I haven't been able to find a replacement)

A baseball cape could give the wearer the ability to catch slowmoving projectiles like, arrows, crossbow bolts, rocks hurled from slings, ect....

I hope I get to say that Someday.....

baseball caps add +1 to 90's cool.

scuba tanks allow minifigs to breathe underwater without drowning (minifigs can breath for (skill roll) number of turns. if they're still underwater after this, they take 1d6 damage every turn until they surface. armor does not help here).

I remember the nineties! Barely. Back in those days the fashion was to beat the crap out of everyone who wore a white baseball cap, because that was the uniform of the moron frat jock. You know, the kinds of guys who drink POWERTHIRST. In hindsight I think I based the whole concept of the Dimmy on our nineties grunge adventures with them.

My minifigs probably would have survived the nineties white baseball caps aside. Well, many of them actually did, but not the ones pictures above.

in 2001 these are already used to make new bricks (like foam spray) so it might be better to have a distingusher like black oilcans have oil
and gray oil cans have brikfoam

Some I thought off.
Image
- Minifigs can carry items along as long as they fit in a treasure chest. (keep this seperate somewhere else)

Image
- Used to dig out 2x4 bricks to create fast sandwalls to hide.

Image
- Units using these have increased range next shot.

Image
- Supreme damage vs structure
- Officer John just saved the day once again -

interesting one for the jackhammer. personally, i use em as parts of guns, but that's nice too.

i also like the shovel one. it's easier than older rules for digging, what with slopes of deposition and all.
