heres just a little snippet of the photos to come, the game took 8 hours and much destruction was had, later cp for the total battle will be calculated for major ships and shuttles, only, that wont include the men heroes or fighters.

this is pretty even, but i still think you need some work to match roc's ground forces. this looks to be a great battle though.

See, this is why we don't need microspace. Also, holy crap.

Indeed. This is amazing. Also, ROC needs to post some of those new ships, I don't think I've seen them before.

It obviously does not need baseplates, as combat is between, or in, ships.

Question-what rules are you using, and does Roc have any surprises up his sleeve? as his fleet is tiny in comparison? Also is that a carrier i see?

Well we used mostly my rules for movement, 30" top speed, if not within 60" of an enemy shuttles, torpedoes, and fighters, could move double thier base movement. Modified HP system were for every 12" or fraction there of you get 5HP, (it still took 3+ turns to destroy some ships, smaller vessels HP was based on SL. (it still took 8 hours with the modified hp system, hence why we didnt, use standard brikwars HP. No warping, it actually wasnt needed, also to determine movement /LOS Ships, were likened unto ground vehicles, they can't go above or below eachother, and also this blocks shots, Shuttles and Fighters can however move past over onto larger vessels, and them selves.

I'm not going to say too much about the battle yet(don't want to ruin it the ending), but the battle turned out into something like this....

Image

The large ships arn't completed yet, so they won't be posted until then. (but there will be a good amount of pics of them in battle) The shuttle's I built on sat, so they'll be posted some time this week.

Btw... If you are thinking of doing a fleet battle, buy A LOT of dice!

First turn, there is an abandoned terrarium frigate in the middle of the field, Roc's tactics use this as a dividing line to hide his vessels, namely the fighters and D-pods

Fighters and D-Pods see deployment
Rocs, fleet at deployment

2nd Turn

One of Roc's shuttles decided to board the frigate, the boarder hears nothing but the scuttling of cockroahes, lets of a few point less blasts, to scare them away and moves to the command deck

Holy crap that's a lot of ships.

Also, I really hope that ROC's fleet tries to board Strana's big ship.
