So...

I was talking with a friend of mine two days ago and he mentioned that his son had played it. Apparently there is an online rating system that shows how fast people solve each area. He had done an area in 9 seconds!!

The developers contacted him to find out how he did it. Its repeatable.

Its on my to do list after I finish HL2 ep1.

i did the first bit of episode one, got bored, and then played portal twelve times in a row.

yes, i know which part is beatable in nine seconds. i think the record for that area's down to seven.

I've got the Orange Box for the 360, and I gotta tell ya, this is a great game.
I'm currently going through the developer commentary and still loving it!

There's a way to get the Portal gun into HL2. Might make it a little more fun.
Sniper? Port a grenade into him.
All out of ammo with soldiers on the other side of the area? Portal over there and kick their asses with a crowbar.
Annoying section of a chapter? Port across it.

The possibilities are limitless... until you realize that this will screw up the game if you skip trigger areas.

Medic or Heavy. Spy if I'm feeling brave.

Ok finished yesterday. Awesome stuff!

I had to hit YouTube to hear the song at the end again. While I was poking around I found this. Its not the end song.

You can get still alive, the end song, on rock band now. It performed by different people though.

I saw some performed by future test subjects but I prefer the original, with readable words.

I often earn myself queer looks from passerby when I sing that to myself in public

EDIT: Oh hell, I'm going to go play this game again.
