Malleus Ordo (40K fans better get this)

Post by DarkWolf » Mon Dec 31, 2007 9:24 pm

Malleus Ordo

Skill: 1d10
Move: 7”
Armor: 3d6
Equipment: MI-7 ‘Bolta,’ ‘Nemesis’
Specialty:

Leap of Faith:
Ordo can use his Heroic Feat to leap 1d10 inches in the direction he is facing. This Leap can be combined with a melee attack if he lands in CC range of an enemy. Momentum rules are applied, as well as the damage of the weapon itself, which ultimately ends up with Ordo landing with his spear point down in the chest of the poor sod he landed on.

Ranged Melee:
Being as badassed as his is, Malleus Ordo can fire his MI-7 Bolta in close combat instead of stabbing someone with his Nemesis. Or, if circumstances permit, he can use it in conjunction with a melee attack (I.E. cuts someone’s gut open with his Nemesis. While the target is kneeling, gathering up his organs, Ordo can fire his Bolta as a finishing attack)

Cranky:
Despite years of training, Ordo believes that he is the greatest hero to walk any planet, and gets more than a bit Cranky if other Heros are fighting along side him.

I don't know much about WH40K but I do know two things 1) Thats a Grey Knight and 2) He is a kick-ass hero.

Da... Crap, I knew I was forgetting something. Let's see, Hero base cost: 11; helmet's gonna add another 3, armor another 4, weapons *muttering* CP = 34 Yay! Math did me some good for once!

Dunno anything about Warhammer, but kickass nonetheless. Sweet spear... I'm guessing thats your Nemesis? Also, try and make him do something cool in a battle report some time... I'm looking forward to all this. :D

I like him, but marines (and GK) are 7ft tall and he doesn't look that tall in those pics.

BTW, everyone should get it, because to many of us know about warhammer.

I realize that the Space Marines are seven feet tall, but until I can find some grey 1x1 tiles, he's going to be short like the rest of the military. Once he is, then I'll give people attacking him a +1 bonus to vs UR rolls because he's so frakking huge.

That's pretty cool, though I don't play Warhammer 40K. How is that gun made?
Often, literally, a pillow fight but may include similar situations like volleyball, particularly when wardrobe is skimpy and the action is bouncy.

It's made using one of the old fashion binoculars, with a 1x1 circular silver stud connecting it to the hand. It counts as wrist mounted, which is what allows him to hold and use the huge spear without having to drop the gun first.

you'd be suprised as to what you can make from a pair of binoculars i have a sniper rifle made by jamming a screw driver into one of the lenses of a binocular, and then jamming that into the skinny part of a megaphone. i have a hammer pounded into the back end of the megaphone to look like a shoulder stock, and then i attatch a hand to the binoculars as an ammunition clip. the binoculars look JUST like a rifle scope.

you can also make a cool double barrelled pistol by putting the handle end of a western revolver into the lens of a binocular. some people like to put a 1x1 pip into the stud on the binoculars for a round looking sci-fi element on the gun, but that's optional.

Although I know nothing about 40K, I like it. Pictures have somehow BrikWars feel, and I like that wrist gun. Good job!

I also use binoculars in sniper rifles, but in very much different fashion. It's extremely hard to explain, so I'll have to take a picture someday. But the binoculars are basically only greepling in it, so they're not that important. The hammer-used shoulder stock is really great, we've been using that for ages.
