+++THE ASSYRIAN EMPIRE+++
Determined to press onwards the Assyrians set to work bringing down the already weakened platform. It takes six shots before it gives. I allowed the two troopers to use two weapons so long as they didn't move this turn.

The first shot did critical damage but most of the others just impacted on the surface, it came down to the last shot before the gantry collapsed.

I picked the base plate up to the normal level and removed the supports and bits and peaces that would interfere with it and then let it drop. This is how it came to rest. The burst fuel line is still spewing out flames and the Undead Captain falls right into it.

Unfortunately the flames are now blocking off most of the landing pad.

Also none of the supports on the far side gave out either meaning the Super Jews beneath the landing pad were safe, for now.

The troops move up as much as they can. They stop beside some swords so it's only polite to help themselves, they may just come in handy after all.

They leave Mad Q-cumber Sandwich the Maniac far behind and advance on mass while retaining opportunity fire in case the need to respond to an attack emerges.

On tails of flame and fire, accompanied by the roar of lasers and jetpacks the Assyrian Star Commandoes arrive. (Since the Maniac is now less of a concern due to distance I decided on using Natalya's plan B for the Star Commandoes. However, the Leader takes an unfortunate scatter on landing and is way off target meaning his men may only land within 6" of him, with additional scatter. This limits the targets.

Fortunatly the Two Super Sandwich Guy Heavies are still in range of some of the Commandoes.

A critical success kills the Rail Gunner but a critical fail send a Star Commando into the wall... ouch!

Another Critical Fail, this time exploding the Commandoes weapon leaving him on his back without a hand or his sword. Man, this round has seen some bad dice rolls.

The Star Commando Leader safely deactivates the Big Bitches Grenades before she can suicide.

Being none too happy at such a sloppy deployment he takes his frustration out on the Bitch.

Yeah, that's much better now.
