Seeing how an assault rifle is a simple solid slug weapon designed for ground troops, I don't think you should be all for the decorating it in wallpaper and ribbons shit. Just give it default stats plus a small bonus.

the assault rifle is a solid slug weapon but from what i understand it fires

a higher density round thats a little faster than a normal round plus its FMJ

and large caliber

And it generaly all round sucks as a weapon.
All you need is the pistol, that baby has a scope so those hunters can eat it!

I would give it 1d6+2, it doesn't give a 1 hit kill all the time, but its rate of fire makes up for it.

muffinman no it sucks in the games but in the books it is beast

only a 1d6+2? i mean it is like at least +3 i think because if it where to hit an

unarmored target in the: thighs, torso, or head it would die

Those are the rolls when it gets a kill.
If it hits the; foot, hand, arm though it would be a wond, and minifigures don't get those it's all or nothing.

A +2 is a decent add on, it gives it a MIN of 3 and a max of 8.

If you hit an unarmored target with a sharp rock in the thighs, torso, or head, it will die.

EDIT: in the right place, in the thighs, torso, or head, i mean.

ok well I've tried it out and 1d6+3 works pretty well, i still need to talk to my friends about it

i have another thing, i have an energy sword and light sabers and whatnot

and im trying to decide if i should give them a set number for damage

like 10 or 15, i think it will work because if you get a low skill roll then you ether miss or only chop off like a hand or leg etc

what do you guys think?

your just gonna ask us and then reject what we suggest, AGAIN.
Even if you get a perfect snipe shot, you could of done nothing better, BUT the target moves, something moves into the way, or any number of things!
Or the gun jams, the bullet is badly molded, theirs imperfections in the barrel... that is accounted for by the damage roll, it's the part of the damage that the persone has no effect on. And this being brikwars it deserves it's place!

I don't care that "that never happened in the books" i would say that a laser sword could break and this being brikwars it could (what i says goes roll).

Why the hell would lightsabers deal 3d6+2?! Heroes have 2d6 health, and they should have a chance of surviving. I would say a lightsaber is a 2d6 weapon.

These are the damages I use for what I classify my weapons as:

1d6 damage: Pistol, dagger
1d6+2 damage: Assault rifle, lazer rifle, desert eagle, rapier, broadsword
1d6+3 damage: Heavy assault rifle, heavy lazer rifle, shotgun, .50 cal.
2d6 damage: Sniper rifle, lightsaber
