Lol, I just need to finish building a space marine, and wait for my brother to finish the terrain.
Real quick on Beskar.
The Beskar plate armor used in sequels to the original series does not have near as many gaps as Boba's original armor. The chest plates gaps have been closed up, specialized gauntlets (crush-gaunts) added for arm protection, and a neck-ring added to prevent the classic decapitation-by-lightsaber. Weak points are the armpits and join connections around the hamstrings and waist. The one weak point I can see in Space Marine armor looks to be below the armpit, but it would be impossible to take advantage of unless you were firing straight up into the suit, so it's not really feasible. The only real weakness in Mjolnir armor is the armor's power itself; if power to the suit is somehow disabled (for instance, when a group of Spartans were trapped in some sort of simulated zero-gravity field), the Spartan will be unable to move or fight effectively. In addition, the neck, waist, armpits, and thighs all seem to have a slightly lower level of protection, increasing maneuverability but also potential vulnerability.
I can't believe I'm arguing this. I'm such a hopeless nerd.
Two quick corrections for spartan117: 1. I know nothing about Warhammer, and very little about Halo, except what I've learned in the past five days. 2. The verpine rifles are pretty sick alright, but I don't think Fett ever owned one, and really, it wouldn't be too useful in this battle. The Verpine is designed to be able to fire any projectile that can fit in its barrel, and the only available projectile that would be more effective than Fett's more specialized weapon would be a mini-bolter round. Somehow, I don't think the Marine will lend him one. Still, I like the idea. Maybe I'll leave a Verpine lying around the battlefield somewhere as an optional pick-up.
Anyway, this should get started soon. I'll keep you posted.

UPDATE: Replaced the Hellgun with mini-bolter, and added Crush-Gaunts to Fett's arsenal. I'm starting on my third Space Marine attempt now, and the terrain is about half-done.

Okay, here's the Space Marine. I hijacked the basic design of a hardsuit from Digital Designer and modded it to my preference. Thoughts?

With Bolter and aoffan's awesome Power Sword design, mini-bolter in the background:

Looks nice, but I think you should add these to the shoulders:

Also for the helmet, I would suggest a TIE pilot helmet instead, or a stormtrooper one.

I like it. The helmet makes this very steampunk.

Added the shoulder pads, they look nice. I tried out the Imperial helmet, and personally I think it looks off, but you decide.
Other helmet options:

So, which one looks best, do you think?
And thanks Warhead.

Yeah that does look off. Hmm... If it was bigger I would've suggested the old Gali Nuva mask from Bionicle, I swear it's a Space Marine helmet.

The knight helmet does look pretty cool, and I can't think of any other helmets that would work. :?

Looks good though, did you use the official Mega Bloks spartan?

Yup. Here are the contestants:
Image

On the left, Boba Fett holding a laser rifle, with a clip-on grenade launcher, blaster pistol, and customized ion rifle at his disposal, in addition to three concussion and three ion grenades.

In the middle, Master Chief, holding his MA5C and M7, also ready to use a plasma sword or plasma grenade.

On the right, the Space Marine, with Power Sword and Bolter, a Mini-Bolter at his feet.

I'm going to use the grey studs in the forground for standard frag and krak grenades, and thermal detonators.

Note that not all of the characters' available weaponry is shown, each character will basically have a small home room containing an arsenal of weaponry, from which he can choose as desired. I'm not going to include the chainsword after all. It'd be a pain to build, and doesn't seem to have any real advantage over the Power Sword (aside from general coolness).
The terrain should be done soon, so the war will (ideally) be ready by Astarte.

Other Space Marine weapon ideas:

Powerfist

Meltagun

Flamer

Plasma gun

Obviously don't include all of them, just suggesting ideas to replace the chainsword, since he seems a bit short on weapons.

I love how in Massam's signature the crowd stops smiling right before they're all gunned down...
Er-hem. Anyway. I gave the Meltagun a shot, though it came out a little multicolored (I'm beginning to exhaust my supply of specialized dark pieces like that) and I had to eliminate the piping because of size. I might try to do more later. What exactly are the properties of the Powerfist?

NO a power fist doubles how strong a space marine is, think energy sword vs gravity hammer

oh and there is no gaps in shielding or weak points

and the spartan should die (because its mega blocks)

I meant..it is the same tech as a powersword, but it is a giant fist. I should have mentioned that it is an anti-armor/tank weapon.
